(Special Agent in Charge) of the FBI, BATF(E), US Marshal’s Office right down to armed poultry inspectors—yes they have them and they are really tough on criminal chickens. The “us against them” mentality, and the “mission essential” attitude justified SWAT teams, “dynamic entries,” and later use of MACE, TASERS, FLASHBANG GRENADES and “routine” use of SUBMACHINE guns. All in the name of “taking down” the accused—no matter the charge. I abhor such police tactics and was an officer that served my own warrants, rarely with one other officer at the back door.

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.
That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".
All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that.

Geez, COTO Crew - isn’t really fun to beat up on somebody who can’t be there to defend their self? For the most part, I see most of you don’t know wtf you are talking about. I stand behind everything I said in my comments, except for one thing - you’re right - I do swear a bit much and have probably hindered our appearance that I once complained about. But you probably would too if you have had the kind of life I’ve had... friends murdered, ripped off in so many ways I can’t even begin to count, slandered, and dealing with libelous remarks on a daily basis. I’m 62 years old, and when I moved to Maui from the madland back in 1985 in my late 30’s, I was probably the least prejudiced person on the planet. Since then the prejudices I have obtained are from my own learned experience, not innuendo, hearsay, nor forwarded messages from the internet. So far I’ve said zip about the Hawaiian born Japanese, who are at the top of my shit list, and for legitimate reasons.

Any guesses why the msm is letting this little tidbit out of the bag now? ~jg

COTO Goes To Congress

Well my merry band of truth seekers and pot stirrers, I have been just a wee bit busy, so have been unable to post here. I have a friend Danene, who is COTO to the bone and every time I call her on the phone, she laughs and says "Oh shit, Cavlan is not working so who are you pissing off and exposing now?"

So here is a catalogue of things I have been doing.

Lets see, spoke with three other people on a 3 hour radio show at Mankato State University about the political and media realities of the world we live in.

Next day spoke at a Press Conference on Single Payer (in my Nurses scrubs and stethoscope) and my part is what the corporate media showed although with no sound.

Then, my friend Dave Bicking brought the mayor of Minneapolis to court for violating the law. I was there with him and have been working on that story. I have it published, or just about to be published in four papers and one radio station (I did a half hour interview on KFAI radio) on what came from that trial.

Then, next day I went to a meeting, set up by nice, comfortable latte liberals in the group Twin Cities Media Alliance, who were having a nice cosy meeting with a local corporate media talking head.

I show up, start by saying "well, this is nice and cosy" and then start speaking the damned truth about the corporate media. Poor guy, LOL and poor timid liberals didn't know what hit them.

Then I worked a group called UH-CAN, which is a fairly radical direct action Single Payer group. Well. they THOUGHT they were radical till I showed up.. LOLOL. We are planning actions in the near future.

Then did another day with a new group here. It is called Open Progressive Party of Minnesota. It is a crew of malcontents who are SERIOUS about building an alternative to the two party system. We are networking with others all over the country.

THEN my dear friends Dori, Amy and I have been working on the latest 6 shows of our cable Show Lies and Omissions of Corporate Media, which is just getting better and better.

Tomorrow and Sunday I am working as the main organizer for the Street Medics at the One Day In July event www.onedayinjuly.org to commemorate the police shootings in Minneapolis at a Teamsters Strike, where the union then won.

I am also helping the Poor People's Human Rights Campaign, fighting against foreclosures and taking over foreclosed houses. We just had a huge win yesterday, BTW. One woman, Rosemary stood up and faced the banks and the community stood up with her. They JUST BACKED DOWN and she is not loosing her home. That is WELLS FARGO bank BTW.

Oh and I just filed to run for Minneapolis City Hall, with the expressed intention of starting a run for Congress. As a member of the Open Progressive party of Minnesota.

Not bad for about two weeks work, eh? I am going on vacation to Michigan for 10 days next week. Minnesota establishment probably says thank God.

I was watching the futbol game last night between Mexico and Costa Rica. After the game the news came on showing Zelaya in a Jeep heading home. The U.S. soccer team beat Honduras team yesterday,like the CIA beat the Honduran government. A blood-bath appears inevitable if Zelaya even reaches the border.

The U.S. is expanding a base in Columbia on the Venezuelan border. Chavez stopped trading with Columbia yesterday,Venezuela the second largest trader with Columbia. Chavez is back in his military uniform. Soto Cano is being reinforced with U.S. troops and equipment.

I started watching soccer when I lived in Mexico. American football no longer can hold My interest. Mexico beat Costa Rica which means The U.S. will face Mexico in New York next week for the America´s Gold Cup of soccer. I will be rooting for Mexico.

Apparently his Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, can't twist enough arms to get the measure written exactly the way the secretive White House visitors from Big Pharma and the insurance industry want, so now the president of the most power country in the world has to take the stage and flat out lie to the people of this nation in order to sell the new "Insurance Company Bailout Plan".

What was the lie? President Obama, the president of "CHANGE" and the so-called "Greatest Man of Our Generation", said that Medicaid and Medicare are the cause of the federal deficit.

That's right; he's blaming the deficit... on the elderly and the poor.

He (Obama) said Medicare and Medicaid, government health care programs for the elderly and the poor, are the "biggest driving force behind our federal deficit." MSNBC

Transparency

I'll keep this simple. Last night I posted several comments to Korn's, "What are you growing?" post. The main focus was on transparency and taking care not to "move forward" the Obama way, that we needed to understand the boundaries, the lines, and the decision making that goes on here. Those messages were gone this morning. If my memory serves me well, Scott replied directly to at least one of them and I do not see that comment either.

All of you have contributed far more than me so I will turn this over to those who have invested far more than myself, but if this is deleted or any comments deleted without explanation...well I guess we'll know what we're really dealing with.

Resist...and then some.

Robert Hormats, another bankster that helped pave the way for Obama's presidency and the looting of our nation has been picked to be the State Department's undersecretary for economic, energy and agricultural affairs. He served during the 1970s as an economic adviser in the White House to former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski. Of course Mr Hormats is a member of the CFR & Trilateral Commission...

The “progressive” blogs are vibrant today. They are touting the recently accepted Kucinich Amendment to HR 3200 (Obamacare) as the compromise we have all been waiting for; a way to pass this draconian healthcare plan monstrosity (that actually serves no-one but the insurance industry) while still maintaining the “HOPE” of having a single-payer not-for-profit healthcare-for-all system sometime in the future.

At a crucial time when dissent was actually making real headway against this raging Obamacare insurance industry bailout plan (not only on main street but also in the halls of congress) along comes the Kucinich Amendment which will undoubtedly be used by the phony left to justify their “transition” to that of supporting HR 3200.

Speaking of immunity, if you get sick after being vaccinated for H1N1, it's your own fault and there's nada you or your lawyer can do about it. Nichts, nada, null, zilch. Get over it.

Go on now, be a good citizen and do what we say, not what we do. We have everything under control. Trust us. After all, we are your elected representatives and we have loads of credentials to prove we know exactly what we're doing.

Oh, and by the way, we just approved a pay raise for ourselves and would like to thank you for your continued support. Now get back to work, nothing to be seen here. Go on, scedaddle.

ATLANTA - A federal judge ruled Thursday that airlines and other companies in the industry that are being sued by families of terrorism victims can't question FBI agents about the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

The defendants wanted to depose the agents and sought access to other evidence related to the investigation of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in order to show at trial that the government's failure to catch the terrorists and prevent the attacks mitigates and excuses any alleged fault on the aviation companies' part.

CBO confirms attack on the middle class

Add to the CBO's estimated $1,500,000,000.000 Obama healthcare plan, the estimated 8 million undocumented uninsured, as well as the millions who are getting benefits under false documents; and then add the cost to small business and the proposed tax increases for the $250,000/year wage earners along with the current budget deficit and conclude the end of the middle class in the next decade.

NSA Gave Up Names of Americans Wiretapped to Ex-State Dept. Official

Three years ago, John Bolton, the former Undersecretary of State for Arms Control, told Congress that he had asked the NSA to reveal to him the identities of 19 American citizens who were caught up in 10 of the NSA's raw intelligence reports since 9/11.

By law, the agency is prohibited from spying Americans and if the NSA intercepts the names of Americans in the course of a wiretap, the agency is supposed to black out the names prior to distributing its reports to other agencies. But the NSA did not second guess Bolton's requests and willingly turned over the identities of U.S. citizens caught up in the wiretaps.

........The NSA also disclosed to senior White House officials and other policymakers at federal agencies the names of as many as 10,000 American citizens the agency obtained while purportedly eavesdropping on foreigners.
