The hurricane Alex clouds came over us last night. I went outside to open the chicken coop and found one of our large fig trees had lost a big fruit laden top-heavy branch. Upon closer inspection I found a large bird nest that had already spilled out its contents. It was a fine nest strong and well built,only it was built on a top-heavy system ready to collapse from its own weight. Now a capitalizing artsy-craftsy type will pick up that nest for next to nothing,shellac it and sell it for a handsome profit at the craft fair. The common birds now displaced will wander aimlessly asking all the other common birds why nobody had warned them of the calamity.  A cold stare is all they will get for an answer as the common birds with nests fly off to their still standing homes. The displaced birds now without shelter will try to sleep in the branches of another tree that still stands where they will fall prey to the large owls that hunt at night. The fallen branch heavy with fruit will be picked clean by the lower elements of the food chain that come up from the lower earth.

Additionally, authorities stated that no alterations will be made in the naval blockade of the territory. The development comes amid a political backlash against Israel over its ongoing blockade of the Gaza Strip as well as a 31 May incident in which its navy raided a protest flotilla attempting to reach Gaza. It is not known when the decision to ease the blockade will be implemented.

Meanwhile, the Israeli navy remains on a heightened state of alert, as an Iranian vessel allegedly attempting to bring aid to Gazans continues on its course for the territory, and a second ship is expected to depart in the coming days. Officials are tracking the first ship, which could near the Gaza coast as early as 19 or 20 June. Additionally, it has been reported that another flotilla may soon be launched from nearby Lebanon; due to the short distance between Israel (and Gaza) and Lebanon, such a development would allow little time for Israeli authorities to plan their course of action. Overall, Israeli authorities continue to assert that flotilla ships will not be permitted to breach the naval blockade and make port in Gaza. The Iranian vessel, and the Lebanese flotilla if launched, pose a highly sensitive concern for the Israelis, who will view these actions as provocative.

Today's announcement is a win-win for the American public because it makes government more convenient and cost-effective while generating significant savings for the country," says OMB Director Peter Orszag. The plan is estimated to save the government 303 million dollars in the first five years, including 48 million on annual postage.

Some, however, think change may not come easy. David Certner, Legislative Policy Director for AARP, said, ""This will be a challenging transition for those who have been receiving Social Security for years and are not familiar with the [new options]." It is his concern that seniors that are not receiving direct deposit fro social security already, 85% of seniors do, may have a harder time converting to the new system.

Another concern is the Post Office, with a few billion dollars loss last year, 48 million would be a large hit. This will be another part of the debate to find a way to save the bleeding Postal Service.

The Treasury Department has made sure of a leisurely timetable for this changeover. New recipients of Social Security and other government benefits as of March 1, 2011 will receive their benefits electronically. News of Mexico's fall into chaos is filtering back through neighbors I had when I lived in Mexico and by other sources. This morning I went to a local Mexican restaurant that I frequent. While talking to the proprietor in spanish he began to tell Me of his aunts recent experience. I will translate it all into english here. This is just how he told it to Me.

My aunt took a trip to Nuevo Laredo with two other female relatives in her pickup. After they finished their visit in Laredo they headed down the highway to Reynosa to visit more relatives. As they were heading down the highway they were stopped by a pickup with two male passengers. The men came up to My aunt's truck and pulling a pistol demanded the pickup. My aunt let him have the pickup and the men sped away leaving the three women standing beside the highway in the desert heat.  In a while another pickup approached the women and stopped,  " Whats wrong" asked the man, My aunt replied "our truck has been stolen by two men".  The man got down out of the truck and moved to the bed of the truck where he lifted two human heads up by the hair matter of factly. "Are these the men that took Your truck?" he asked. "I think so" My aunt replied. The man said "wait here "and sped off back in the direction he had come from. In a few minutes the man returned with another pickup following. " Here is Your truck maam, La Familia is returning it to You" he said. He then got into the second truck with his associates and left. Exxon has decided to give back some of the huge windfall gains by offering oil at $50 a barrel. Their plan is to sell the oil off Prince William Sound. Yes for $50 a barrel, first come first serve.   The 262,000 barrels that are laying in the Alaskan waters are up for grabs. They are hoping to make up some more of the $500,000,000 gift they got from the Supreme Court of King George Bush II. They stand to make another $13,000,000 which will likely go to pay off the executives who have suffered so much trauma over the NINETEEN YEARS it took to litigate.

Could the Gulf explosion have been timed better for the Lieberman energy bill  that nobody knows about in  the Senate?   For a last ditch attempt at carbon taxation?    Could this debacle be the generated event Biden predicted for earlier in the Obama regime, although that was cast as an international event?      Or is the forthcoming falseflag attack/USrahelli war on Iran the one he had in mind?    In any case, Biden's  plea for people standing with Barry during the crisis has fallen on deaf ears.   People are becoming more and more tired of the run around, lies and environmental disaster from whatever or whoever generated the Gulf blowout and massive spill.    This event could be the bridge too far for the Obama  regime and possibly even its puppetmasters.    There is the huge new reality noted by Brzinski that the people can for the first time in history wake up and scavange their whole house of cards.     Of course, societal and environmental collapse could also bring on worse regimes to replace Obama, Emanuel and Biden, unless the people say they want a whole new ballgame.

I wouldn't want to place any bets on the outcome but it sure does not look good for us humans under this regime of environmental destruction, war, and financial looting.
