Omen 5 , the fall of man

The hurricane Alex clouds came over us last night. I went outside to open the chicken coop and found one of our large fig trees had lost a big fruit laden top-heavy branch. Upon closer inspection I found a large bird nest that had already spilled out its contents. It was a fine nest strong and well built,only it was built on a top-heavy system ready to collapse from its own weight. Now a capitalizing artsy-craftsy type will pick up that nest for next to nothing,shellac it and sell it for a handsome profit at the craft fair. The common birds now displaced will wander aimlessly asking all the other common birds why nobody had warned them of the calamity.  A cold stare is all they will get for an answer as the common birds with nests fly off to their still standing homes. The displaced birds now without shelter will try to sleep in the branches of another tree that still stands where they will fall prey to the large owls that hunt at night. The fallen branch heavy with fruit will be picked clean by the lower elements of the food chain that come up from the lower earth.
