So there I was peddling my ass through the French Quarter ... ohm, wait ... that doesn't sound right ... anyway, I'm on my bike going to get some ObamaScare fliers printed when I come across this beauty parked on Royal St..

The fliers are urging everyone not to comply. That they should tell whomever tries to sign them up that any penalty is better then complying with a bad law. Not to give your name, nothing. That it would be the purest form of civil disobedience.

Reuters confirms French president criticized PM in private conversation with US president; Obama: I have to deal with it every day.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy called Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu a liar in a conversation with the US president, French website Arret Aur Images reported on Monday night, a report confirmed by a Reuters journalist.

"I cannot bear Netanyahu, he's a liar," Sarkozy told US President Barack Obama during a frank exchange where the US president took him to task for backing a Palestinian request for membership of the UN cultural heritage agency UNESCO.


You're fed up, Obama responded, but I have to deal with it all day.

The comments were overheard by a small number of journalists during a meeting between Obama and Sarkozy at the G20 summit meeting on November 3. A technical failure allowed the journalists to listen to the private conversation on their monitors. They were then asked to refrain from reporting what they had heard.

A Reuters reporter was among the journalists present and can confirm the veracity of the comments, which were relayed by a French internet outlet on Tuesday.

Labor MK Daniel Ben-Simon told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday that he is “embarrassed as a citizen and as a MK” by Sarkozy’s words.

“I was embarrassed to read what Sarkozy thinks about our prime minister, and I was even more embarrassed to hear that the US President agrees with him,” Ben-Simon said.

“I am filled with shame that this is the way two of our greatest allies treat our prime minister,” he added. “I think this is the first time such comments have been publicized.”

“If [Netanyahu] lies so easily to important officials, just imagine how much he lies to us,” Ben-Simon stated.

Kadima, whose last Knesset campaign slogan was "Bibi, I don't believe him," chose not to comment on the matter.

"What Sarkozy said is more than enough," a party spokesman quipped.

Just in case you live behind the moon or just maybe in the US of A where information is passed around in a brown paper bag, this coming Sunday, Germany will come down with a major case of the elections. While there's not a lot your average citizen can do to escape the madness, some parts of the elections circus are edible and in some cases down right entertaining. Take for instance the recent video threats where a supposed member of al-Queda tells voters to refrain from voting for any political party in support of German involvement in the illegal war in Afghanistan.

It was hot today. Sweltering. You could feel the heat creeping up on you, like a scream starting in your feet and rising up until it grabs you by the throat.

Everywhere the frogs were boiling.

But appearances are deceiving. Everywhere, the same routines were being run. People went about their daily activities hardly noticing anything was amiss. You would have thought it was just another rotation of the earth going roundabout.

But this was different. A different kinda heat, a different kinda day. I wondered if anyone else was noticing as the temperature was rising to intolerable levels? Nothing on the TV news about it. Just the usual buffet of sugar-coated donut holes. Hot air 24/7.
