  9. I didn't watch the video that Nikki offered. I am on a tight video budget web wise as you know.

So I am doing what I used to do in English class, when I didn't read the book assignment...just getting a feel of what it is about from other's commentary. I got a B in English, so faking it worked pretty well there.

    I was interested in reading what I found interesting...I didn't give a shit about the curriculum...sometimes I do that here too. {grin}

  13. Zero Hedge

"With his revelations exposing the extent of potential, and actual, pervasive NSA surveillance over the American population, Edward Snowden has done a great service for the public by finally forcing it to answer the question: is having Big Brother peek at every private communication and electronic information, a fair exchange for the alleged benefit of the state's security. Alas, without further action form a population that appears largely numb and apathetic to disclosures that until recently would have sparked mass protests and toppled presidents, the best we can hope for within a political regime that has hijacked the democratic process, is some intense introspection as to what the concept of "America" truly means.

However, and more importantly, what Snowden's revelations have confirmed, is that behind the scenes, America is now actively engaged in a new kind of war: an unprecedented cyber war, where collecting, deciphering, intercepting, and abusing information is the only thing that matters and leads to unprecedented power, and where enemies both foreign and domestic may be targeted without due process based on a lowly analyst's "whim." It has also put spotlight on the man, who until recently deep in the shadows, has been responsible for building America's secret, absolutely massive cyber army, and which according to a just released Wired profile is "capable of launching devastating cyberattacks. Now it's ready to unleash hell."
General Keith Alexander, now quite possibly the most powerful person in the world, that nobody talks about. Which is just the way he likes it."~Zero H

    . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Begin ww:

Again, it is the spin of the Mainscream Media about Snowden - not about what the information he released means. And it is alternate media such as this blog, that gets caught up in the same hysteria..."who is he really? Is the real or memorex?" -- DISTRACTION -- a Red Herring. It don't mean shit.

Rather than keep your head in that spin-cycle, look deeper into what the system is really doing with this panoptic technology. Keep in focus that the real issue is this tyranny that is only going to clamp down harder and harder, unless people get what is really going on. And joining in the Snowden quibble isn't going to focus on the essentials.

This hot shot super conspiracy guru bullshit is become a form of arrogance blinding common sense as much as the enchantment of the PR Machine.
What is the real issue? That the government is able to count the times your asshole twitches as you read this. It doesn't matter if Edward Snowden is Briar Rabbit. It doesn't matter where he ends up. What matters in the long run is if this police state tyranny is going to keep going, or if the common people wake up.

And as far as anyone else thinking about outing some inside info? The suspicion blasted at Snowden even from the radical political blogs, is going to be discouraging...you know; "some thanks I would get for sticking my head out..."

And all of this discouraging bullshit over theoreticals built on presumptions.
On top of that, it is People Magazine type trivia.

That's my 2 cents, take it or leave it.

  14. Well Niki,

I got the feel of what the story is we are contemplating here.

Confucius probably had a point about symbols. But then you have to interpret them correctly. There is the hitch.

Who has that masters in interpretation? Is symbols all there is or is there accounting for actual current events, and is all the information as to that data interpreted as expertly as the symbolism?

We can all make our own calls. I have already written a little something about the actual current events, and the errors of perspective I see some making...

  16. Whistleblowing

Project Mannequin is a mind control and genetic manipulation program run by the National Security Agency (NSA). Although the NSA is officially the United States government, they run many covert “black” projects in many countries around the world. The NSA is fast becoming the world’s most powerful secret service and is currently taking over much of the global intelligence apparatus.

Project Mannequin was started in 1972 and is still being run from a 6-level underground facility beneath the small town of Peasemore in Berkshire, a few miles from where I grew up. This underground base is so secret that the local residents of Peasmore are not even aware it exists.

This NSA facility, known in intelligence circles as the AL/499 base, is located 200 feet below the village.

There are entrances to the facility at:

Greenham common (known as ‘Bravo’ entrance, which is now sealed off) Watchfield Military Science College (‘Delta’ entrance) Harwell laboratories in Oxfordshire There are entrances to the base in Lambourne and Welford in Berkshire

The underground base at Lambourne is the “Area 51” of the U.K. with many exotic, anti-gravity aircraft stored there.

The project involves the kidnapping of targeted civilians and also certain intelligence and military people. Some of the intelligence and military personnel have volunteered for the project, but many have not. Almost all of the civilian “guinea pigs” have not volunteered and have been used against their wills. I was “sold” into the project. Many of the civilians have also been used in the project from young children.

The reason is to create programmed “sleeper” agents using sophisticated electronic hardware-based hypnosis. These individuals are programmed by the NSA to carry out future tasks, set by the NSA, and become hit-men as adults. Sleepers are people who carry out a huge variety of pre-programmed tasks with sometimes little awareness of the medical procedures in Project Mannequin because of advanced memory erasure techniques.

  19. Phrenology and Anthropometry

The history of anthropometry includes and spans various concepts, both scientific and pseudoscientific, such as craniometry, paleoanthropology, biological anthropology, phrenology, physiognomy, forensics, criminology, phylogeography, human origins, and cranio-facial description, as well as correlations between various anthropometrics and personal identity, mental typology, personality, cranial vault and brain size, and other factors.

Throughout various times in history, applications of anthropometry have ranged vastly—from accurate scientific description and empidemiological analysis to rationales for eugenics and overtly racist social movements—and its points of concern have been numerous, diverse, and sometimes highly unexpected.

4 Humboldt Fault Zone [inside the Wyoming Craton Nebraska ]

    6. New Madrid Seismic Zone [Northern most point-IL]
    7. Ramapo Fault Line [NY-NJ-PA]
    8. The Atlantis Fracture Zone [Mid Atlantic Trench]

Whether by HAARP ELF, Dirty Bomb triggers or tuning fork drilling platforms these fracking sites all lie in American subduction plate strike-slip or volcanic fault.

I think he needed to see these as Grandcanyon and SF are off the mark. But no doubt the locations are ripe for other weather modification.

  21. Dont waste your energy in the messenger Nic. Just keep the basic priciple of Media and Alternate media as another paradigm with neither being credible.

Keep throwing out the Cati product and other off the beaten path of deflection and we can vet and glean from all of it. Go on your gut because 99% is all bullshit regardless of who posted it. (moi certainly included)

  23. Exactly my point PD. I don't know about you but what I grok comes via trolling online. What's real and what isn't, best one can go on is a gut feeling. As far as Snowden, it's not in the act of putting out info that we assumed some time ago right to the point of taunting the creeps in our messages online. But the fact that the rest of the planet went through a WTF moment that just keeps reverberating around the planet. It stuck a pin in the ass's of a lot of deadheads. Little by little, we gain.
It doesn't pay to be certain of anything, but mindful of everything we can wrap our heads around. Ya know the ageless saying

  24. veri....I know ur heart is in the right place.......and I am being blown away (again) by willy's awesomeness (and ZHedge)....so....all I can do is ask that "deadheads" not be used as a pejorative. As I am still on the comatose side of things from the triple whammy of:
    1) summer vacation
    2) an awesome 9/11 truth 4th parade
    3) PD paying me a completely over the top and undeserved compliment
on top of that.....I been waiting for an aprop. opp. to call young William to task for confessing to hating the Grateful Dead and starting a (hopefully not too annoying) habit of attaching a GD song to (many, most, all???) of my comments for the foreseeable future.

Theese mofos have like an 800 song catalogue!!!

You could go see them 3 nights in a row (and I did a few times) AND NEVER HEAR THEM REPEAT A SONG. ok,,,, i'ma gonna slide on outta here with this. I double dog dare u to listen to it with ur system as loud as it goes (cold beer not required, tea is fine, but stand up!! move a little....we ALL have soul, some just aren't sure where they left it... :)

  25. I profusely apologize for smearing any reference to the Dead and "deadheads" as being deadheads for it wasn't them I was referring to. I go back to the sixties and am a product of that time, I never did come back, a long time to be a head.
Did you ever read the "Electric Koolaid Acid Test" by Tom Wolfe? If you haven't you've missed a real riot of a book, it'll have you in stitches.
It's basically about Ken Kesey who wrote, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". You can blame the whole "Hippy" movement on the CIA. While he was a journalism major at UCLA Berkeley that was enrolled in MK-Ultra LSD tests and being paid for it. He came away from that experience saying, "They had the best acid".
What they did was tour all over California in an old School bus (Magic Bus) reading "FURTHUR" in the destination sign and turned on as much of California as they could. Their house band was, The Grateful Dead". I've been onside for a long time so once again please forgive me the slip of a phrase.

  26. I get more info from the disinfo. Google trends and facecounts. There is where the you find the steaming piles. It is in the cracks and crevasses that you may find something worth something.

I am grateful to have this place here where we can function poorly and well without too much trolling but it requires we all bring the good, bad and ugly.

Camus, the Dead had the CIA to help them write the songs. They were too busy on assignments :) The Beatles had MI5. I'll take CSN&Y or Credence as my CIA favorites. Operation Tradewinds

Frank Olson is a deadhead. But his story still sells as Acid Dreams http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid_Dreams_%28book%29

I think in Snowden's case the art has been refined to perfection.

Quantity and Quality are vastly different things.

That snakes Mozart to a large degree - though I do like his orchestral pieces.

I like Gamelan, Musik-Concrete, Ambient, Hawaiian, Irish, and Bowie...
and lots of things inbetween--but I don't like the Dead...
