Thousands peacefully protest Wall Street

I hadn't even heard about this until this morning.   Of course there is a media blackout.  It started September 17th and is expected to run for at least a week.  Found this video .  You may want to  mute the very loud music.  ~jg

  4. Day 4: At least five arrested, one may be in critical condition

Published 2011-09-20 05:01:04 UTC by OccupyWallSt

Early this morning at least five protesters were arrested by NYPD.

The first arrest was a protester who objected to the police removing a tarp that was protecting our media equipment from the rain. The police said that the tarp constituted a tent, in spite of it not being a habitat in any way. Police continued pressuring protesters with extralegal tactics, saying that a protester on a bullhorn was breaking a law. The protester refused to cease exercising his first amendment rights and was also arrested. Then the police began to indiscriminately attempt to arrest protesters, many of them unsheathed their batons, in spite of the fact that the protest remained peaceful.

The new residents of Liberty Square continued to serve as shining examples of law abiding behavior in spite of police harassment and the loose interpretation and selective enforcement of New York’s laws by the NYPD.

CNN NOTICES and of course underplays it except for the possiblity that the peaceful protesters could riot at any time since they didn't get that stinkin' permit! (waiting on the govt provocateurs)

  6. If the news blackout on this does not tell the tale to all but the terminally stupid, who knows what will? Get it- there IS NO "PRESS." Just like there IS NO "government." Mebbe it's bout time some of Noo Yonks Feenest should only be picking sharpened screwdrivers out of their kidneys.

Does anyone with a brain of a snail need further evidence of "Estato Corporativo," ie. the corporate state... otherwise known as "fascism?" Uhh,,, no... the stupid-heads are still busy trying to "prove" Bammo is a secret Muslim. Should Punch wear a red hat or a blue hat when whacking on Judy? Important questions... to the stupid-heads.

The bratwurst-stuffed uniforms blowing whistles are making peaceful protest impossible. Do they know what comes next? No-- they only want to collect a paycheck and go home to momma's deep-fried cheez-logs. So much for the "911 heroes."

They should only get an RPG enima.

  7. I've been noticing the chatter of Kent State and other Nixonian delights lately.

When the American Spring is sprung, the chatter of the media spouting us rebels as freedom fighters will disappear. Al-Qu'ida terror scum is what we be. Right Wolfie? Right Andy!

    Fo'dedin Oh hi Oh
