  4. Cody I agree totally..go Ventura..BUT he has to throw the scanners in there too. Otherwise they will push the propaganda that they are LESS intrusive to go thru than the grope search.

  5. They can grope me all they like. They can even leer when doing it, I don't care. I've been through the military, years back, it was just like that. The trick was to take it all with equanimity and never lose your composure no matter what they did. Meanwhile you knew the legal limits to their behavior, and later, you stuck it to them with the same amount of mercy they showed you.
The difference this time is there does not seem to be any actual legal recourse. I imagine different kinds of recourse will await the worst perps.
A groping leaves no real physical damage (if it does, there may still be recourse of some sort), but the scanners may cause damage that takes years to show up, and in the mean time our health care system is going to collapse under its own weight, and we will be left with folk remedies (which I highly recommend, BTW), and diagnostic tests (the only decent part of the current medical paradigm) will be a distant memory. So what ever you do, don't go through the scanners.
I think the reason Mr. Ventura is focusing on the groping side of it is there is still enough of an organized outrage over it, thanks to religious fervor, that he stands a chance of progress there. The danger is that in response, everyone will be required to undergo the scans, and this will spread to all forms of public transportation (from which I am currently excluded due to electrosensitivity). You pay a lot to rent a car, but that's what you do when you need motorized wheels.

  7. I share your cynicism, but still hold out some faith that even though the agenda will move forward, that it will eventually fail.

I just hope and against hope that I can live long enough to see that come to pass.

  8. That's a realistic hope worth hanging on to. We're seeing more signs of desperation among them, I think. (That's really what all this TSA and FEMA stuff is all about.) Are you still living within spittin' distance of the Gulf? I reckon that's a real peril--short term, medium term and long term. My husband and I are preparing to take in refugees eventually (can't right now, I'm sorry).

  9. Yea M,
I am on that line of hoping to see it all sort out before I hit the big snuffu too.

All things must pass...it's just the sequence I am consoined with.

Like I just posted in another thread, if Yellowstone and New Madrid do a Romeo and Juliet, there will simply be no continental US...and all the 'political' jabberwanky is moot.

  10. Shouldn't there be a TSA GROPE Blog? An ongoing compilation / depository of videos and photos of every illegal intrusion committed by these Gestapo sickos "just doing their job".

What I am getting at is, do you realize "the State" is now enforcing "their right" to physically search United States citizens (and foreigners) under penalty of (a new law they dreamed up)? That or irradiate citizens with new x-ray technology.

The "State" hates to have their enforcers -- policemen, TSA, or other uniformed and deputized jackboots -- photographed or video recorded doing "their jobs". YET, they claim their new right to cast aside their citizens' long-held rights to privacy, search & seizure -- and get right into Your junk.

I say record every damn groping and violation of citizen's personal rights, and Post Em on a website/blog for posterity sake. A Citizen-Owned record of government acts. There is nothing more reminiscent of Fascist Acts than a government that demands ALL they do be kept secret, and ALL their citizens do is an open book. The Patriotic generations before us would certainly have not stood still for a Grope, a Scan, or any other BullShit our current twisted government figures is it's prerogative.
