One of the worst events in my lifetime was the fall of the Soviet Union. Unlike what I see as a brainwashing and propaganda success, the masses were generally heralding this event as the end to the cold war.  What was a healthy respect between two superpowers was also a mutually confirmed capability for global destruction. That was the opening for our government to start the WOT trauma program.

This is the prime example of the peace process. Peace should be feared by everyone.
