Chicken or Egg...It all tastes like shit to me

Without going into the Global Warming agenda, I wanted to review the data and some inconvenient truths.

These tests rendered radioactive fallout in massive quantities into the atmosphere and underground water supplies.

From the 1940s through the 1960s, barrels of radioactive waste were frequently dumped in oceans. This ended in 1970 when the EPA (Energy Protection Agency) determined that at least one-fourth of these barrels were leaking. A new, possibly safer proposal under consideration for long-term ocean storage includes offshore drilling and a procedure known as self-burial. In offshore drilling, holes would be drilled into the seabed and filled with barrels of waste. In self-burial, specially shaped barrels would be dumped and left to sink to the ocean floor.

Ice-sheet disposal
Scientists also considered burying radioactive waste in polar ice.
Advantages to this option include the lack of population in polar regions and the stability and thickness (several miles, thousands of meters) of polar ice.
One drawback to this option is the uncertain disposal and/or retrieval processes
. Another is the potential effect of future climate changes on the stability and size of polar ice masses. Radioactive wastes could be released into the environment if global climate changes increased polar ice melting.
This option also would be extremely expensive due to the remote location and adverse weather. Finally, the Antarctic Treaty of 1959 prohibits disposing of radioactive waste on the Antarctic continent.

I wonder if the Soviets or US decided to break that treaty as they did so willingly historically?

Island geologic disposal
Scientists looked at burying radioactive waste beneath remote islands that lacked valuable resources and were far from large continental landmasses.
One drawback to island geologic disposal concerned the risks associated with ocean transport, especially during bad weather. Also, many islands experience frequent and intense earthquake and volcanic activity.
In addition, some islands have geologic structures that allow seawater, as well as fresh water, to penetrate underlying rock. The presence of water could contribute to waste container corrosion, releasing and eventually transporting radioactive particles into the environment. The potential for opposition from nearby countries was an additional consideration.

EXCEPT WITH HAITI, MAYBE?

Deep Space disposal
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the DOE also researched several methods of disposal in space. Possibilities included launching waste containers into the sun or putting them on the moon.
Space disposal offers the attraction of permanent separation of waste from the human environment. However, the disadvantages of space disposal are great. The possibility of an accident during launch and the potential for radioactive waste to be scattered by such an accident make this an unacceptable option. In addition, space disposal is impractical because of the number of launches that would be required.
Establishing international agreements on how such a program would be operated and regulated would also be difficult.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN RADIOACTIVITY MELTS POLAR and GLACIAL ICE?

Well, the climatologists would agree that the sea levels rise.  These are the same guys who said CO2 was the culprit and not the Solar Flare activity or the repercussions of massive nuclear fallout from thousands of tests, vast dumping, Chernobyl, and who knows what other toxic nonsense these little warmongers had in mind.

NOW LET"S SEE AN EXPERIMENT

Okay, maybe not laboratory type with all the controls but still....

Well, the climatologists would agree that the sea levels rise.  NOT!!!!  How about the earths crust sinks?

When the weight of ice melt and increase water volume press on the tectonic plates what happens?  Shifting, pushing and invading deeper into the plates, volcanic vents, pipes and channels. And when the water invades the magma what happens then?  Well dont throw water on your next cooking pan fire.

Land doesn't move right???

Just a bunch of floating ships on a sea of water, magma and other moving oceans.
http://library.thinkquest.org/17457/english.html

That's because Mother Earth is trying to adjust to your little war games butthead!!

Yes they are and it's working!! Thats why parts of the land are actually rising and other areas are sinking.  Some plates will likely shift right under another. But that you will likely not survive so you will never get that Kodak moment.

Haiti, you never stood a chance.  You are the little plate, the Caribbean plate. Just peanuts!  That's why I can predict you and others to be the first to feel the rapture of HAARP.

Maybe the bad guys are sorry for all the nuclear games and are trying to HAARP the icecaps with a permafrost blast. That would explain why it's snowing in Daytona Beach today.

Maybe they are really working hard to find a place to dump the real climate changer.  Those devilish ISOTOPES!!

Maybe the boys of the COMMITTEE  just decided to convert Haiti to the deep ground bunker for all the barrels of fun they have accumulated. And well, as useless eaters of mud as you Haitians are, well you just got a taste of Manifest Destiny.

Hey boys and girls, don't despair, it could be worse. You could have had a nuclear winter or summer.

  1. Patrick, help me out, I thought the simple experiment showed pitchblend did not melt ice as fast as arsenic, unless they had the sides reversed in the film?
Please explain to a simple idyut like me what the point was if the radioactively hot rock does not melt the ice?
The film from Chernobyl is a graphic reminder. There was a film called "Chernobyl Heart" that HBO bought the rights to and then scuttled, which showed the problems in Belarus' children from Chernobyl. In Chernobyl Heart, a geiger counter hit 13,000 cpm about 300 yards from the doomed reactor, from invisible radioactivity, but a thousand times background radiation for the film crew, very dangerous levels. Similarly the environmental aftermath of Chelyabinsk or Mayak, is permanent contamination of a region. The CIA kept the events at Mayak in the 1950's secret for fifteen years because it would have jeopardized the US program if people knew what was happening. There is a lake there so contaminated that to stand next to it would kill anyone. After Mark Hertsgaard investigated ten miles away in the region, he lost all his white blood cells.
The fallout maps from US atmospheric testing are well known, but the fallout from Soviet testing is less known. I used to think the 1970 plutonium readings in Hawaii (highest of all population centers) were from the Marshall Islands tests but now I wonder if it was from rained out Asian jetstream off Kazachistan the main Soviet site. Alot of flora in Hawaii came off the Asian jetstream.
The big spike in ambient global DU a little over a week after Shock and Awe and Tora Bora bunker buster attacks, registered at the Royal Atomic facility in Aldermaston, England, was kept secret by Halliburton until finally Dr. Chris Busby and others got the data. What it all proves is the amount of radionuclides the US and other nuclear states release into the atmosphere and how it transports globally via mixing in the troposphere and above.
The huge increase in cancer, diabetes, and autism since 1945 coincides with the spread of radiation in the environment from weaponsystems and their reactors which produce plutonium. The best half solution I can think of for Chernobyl is to spray the thing with gunite concrete behind shields or something? It is a ticking time bomb. The fuel rod pools at Indian Point are leaking and the reactor will have to pump tritium and plutonium into the Hudson. There are no filters that can stop tritium, a heavy water. And if the pools were to suddenly drain, the fuel rods would burst into flame like at Chernobyl.
Unfortunately the DU in Iraq and its ruined cities is going to be circulating in the poison dust there for a long time, causing the same kind of birth defects as from Chernobyl, due to the extreme surface area of nano particulate U238, which removes self shielding of alpha particles and makes dispersal deadly.
We simply calculate the surface area of a ten micron particle and that of the same volume dispersed into .1 micron particles. The biological effectiveness of DU as a mutagen is therefore very high, exactly as strategized by the satanic Conant (poison gas committee) memo to Leslie Groves in 1943, when he proposed uranium smoke as a permanent terrain contaminant.
It was Einstein, the champion of a Jewish state in Palestine, who pushed FDR to begin the Manhattan Project.

  2. Yes, and 'the need' for nuclear power is just to be able to sell it NOW. It's just for the MONEY NOW! It always is with these shiny bastards. They don't give a toss about anyone or anything else. The consequences don't matter, so long as they get 'THEIR MONEY NOW!. And money is a fiction, remember.

We really must do something to eliminate it and these bastards.

Incidentally, as of twenty years ago, it took a billion dollars and a hundred years to totally dismantle each nuclear reactor. God knows what it would cost now, IF any country will in the furture have the necessary funds and population able to undertake the task of dismantling the ever-proliferating number of reactors.

But of course that does not matter so long as these grubby little creeps can GET THEIR MONEY NOW! - damn them all.

The planet is not well favoured by these creatures, and it is the responsibility of us all to eliminate them and the evil delusion that motivates them.

Good luck, planet. You were a nice idea. Pity about the sheeny bastards and their ills.

  3. Mary it points out that all radioactive isotopes have an effect (though differing)
With Elemental Arsenic at least 10 nuclear isomers have been discovered, ranging in atomic mass from 66 to 84. What is discovered is they all will have an effect on the melt.

Should she have used ore with Caesium 137, iridium-192, Thallium-201 then we could understand the true effect. These having substantial half life.

A number of experiments have shown that decay rates of naturally-occurring radioisotopes are, to a high degree of precision, unaffected by (or, for the small number of nuclides exhibiting electron capture, only very slightly affected by, with changes of approximately 0.2% or less) external conditions such as temperature, pressure, the chemical environment and electric, magnetic or gravitational fields.

    HAARP HAARP HAARP!!!

Trace radionuclides are those that occur in tiny amounts in nature either due to inherent rarity, or to half-lives that are significantly shorter than the age of the Earth. Synthetic isotopes are inherently not naturally occurring on Earth, but can be created by nuclear reactions and waste.

This was the simplest form of Video for the science deficiient observer. But this really drives the point that nvironmental, Solar and HAARP effects on radionuclides. And the Russians and Americans had no problem dispersing these substances worldwide.

  4. The facts that Mary presents confirm the huge problem of storage. I did an article on DOPE-ED News about the budgets and numbers of warheads during the cold war and what the arsenal was today.

The vast amounts of residual waste was enormous. Any investigator worth his salt should have wondered where all of it was stored. There was not attempt to reprocess it for Medical Use as it would not have made the COMMITTEE money from their ENORMOUS MINING OPERATIONS.

I mean enormous amounts of money. In my previous post I point out the current volume of one Alumina plant in Guinea by RUSAL who competes with giant ALCOA.

The US found a use with D-38 to distribute it to middle east theatres and Bosnia but the Russians likely continued the dump.

The treaty in 59 made Antarctica a safe zone but you think ice melt dumping in the Siberian tract and polar caps were not likely?

I'd like to get the odds from Vegas on that one.

  5. It took billions of years for this Earth to shed the nuclear poison that made life impossibles.

It took us only a few short decades to reverse what Earth has done.

I don't know what the grand plan is. I don't even know if there is one. For if there is a master plan for the universe, I fail to understand how turning this beautiful blue jewel into a burning cinder plays into it.

Makes me think that perhaps the Gods are just as fucked-up as we are.
