For War

Oh look. It is Medea Benjamin and the other trust fund babies in Code Stink, I mean Pink. This has become their official position. It's now about using the military to protect women's rights in Afghanistan/Pakistan/Iraq/Iran......

Please ignore the Afghan group RAWA Revolutionary Women of Afghanistan. Who have long demanded the end of the US occupation of Afghanistan.

BTW folks. I just contacted Cindy Sheehan, told her about COTO, Rob Krawl, Op Ed Snooze etc.

Told her that we had made her an honarary member a long time ago and invited her here.

    COTO KNOWS
    COTO GROWS

    Cindy....She walks the walk.
I am not as deep in my knowledge as you and others here, but I think I understand well the implications of so much. My soulwork is thru music and family and as such I don't put posters on my wall anymore.
And, as much as I too gnash my teeth when I am around those of differing perspectives and motives, (Kall i.e.), I always try to remember that whatever our differences, we will likely need to value our similarties more so as we continue. We will see them more clearly as this all plays out.
I don't worship well. Ideas that is. My weakness and strength is my faith in people.
As you point out yet another aspect of the false paradigm above with PINK, it strikes me that trust funds aside, as the end of this go round nears we all will count friends on one land (If lucky) and hopefully leave our children intact to play their music.
As long as I can breath I refuse to let the music be silenced. As you do in yours, I fight in my own style and as I find your passion somewhat reflects mine but in another shape, we link not by agreement but by our intention to find and be fair to all those who share this sphere.
This is some ride we're on eh Michael?
    Hope I'm worthy
    peace
    Thanx

  3. What a coup if we could get the mother of Casey here for an occasional cup of COTOJO Michael.

By the way M what is she drinking in that cup. Somedays I'd like to escape reality and drink the potion. Thanks for the 1000 words!

  4. Oh the hypocrisy! Another gold star M (pun intended)

Irish, I invited Cindy around the same time you did and never heard back. Maybe this time she will respond? She's Coto through and through.

I also invited Sibel Edmonds who did respond and even checked our site out. She liked our blog but felt a certain loyalty to Kall since he'd been so kind to her. If she only knew.......

  5. Horseshit to cindy and moore and the ones who change the theme to justify the means. But I do still like both to a point, even tho I've long been fed up everyone stating the troops before the innocent being maimed, orphaned and killed. As stated again by cindy at oen.

You Get What you Vote For! "So, here we are four years, thousands of U.S. troops deaths and hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths later,"

Been wanting to do a poll for years. If you had a choice who would you rather have back the hundreds of thousands of innocents or the troops, since the troops are always put first as if the innocent are an after thought. Oh, not to mention 3 countries destroyed. At least I know one here who would choose the troops.

Suppose to some it would be a hell of a choice. Suppose if they stated the opposite they would have more threats than they normally do.

As with Nam some/we didn't realize the totality of the ruse until years later. And again with Iraq and Afghanistan they have my sympathy, even tho very little, for being so foolish to believe lies and fight a government/corporate war. They made their choice.

Would I be unpatriotic, not in mine eyes, oh well I choose the innocent if I had to make a choice.

  6. Some of the troops are innocent because they really believe the bs they've been taught.
They are fighting for our FREEdoms.. They aren't bad, just dumb.

A woman I work with was so pleased her grandson decided to join the air force because he had no direction in life. I wanted to smack her right in her stupid face. I said to her.. "oh really? you prefer he come home as a paraplegic or in a body bag or perhaps you prefer his "undirected" mind be altered by perpetrating the torture and death of innocent children ? That stopped her dead in her tracks and she quickly changed the subject. I'd break my kid's legs before I'd let him sign up to be cannon fodder for the corporate machine.

As for Cindy. I have not seen her change course even once. What are you talking about? Michael Moore just doesn't go far enough. The fact that he so wholeheartedly supported Obama spoke volumes about Moore.

  7. One, learn to use "spell-check".

Two, learn how to put together a coherent sentence.

Three, learn what you're talking about before you comment on it.

Ms. Sheehan hasn't wavered, nor has she made any distinction between troops or innocents. So on that contention you're all wet.

Moore is another case. He's more a left-wing gate-keeper. And until he breaks that 9/11 ceiling he'll always be one.

When war is the answer, the questions themselves are wrong.

  8. One day we may all have to become soldiers or starve. And to say that the soldiers are enablers is correct but then again we have all enabled it by many of our decisions.

Whether the gas pump is enough, our giant carbon footprint or food for your family, none of us are really blameless. The lesser of two evils is still evil.

  9. You go JG. Break the legs, save the psyche and soul. Legs will mend.

  11. Fools believe in "protection" and "protectors". Fools will support the "surge" dogma. COTO is good at math: send 30,000 for a surge and withdraw 2000 to feed the "base" in order to keep the motor running. Even greater fools are unable to properly assess the situation as they squirm to escape the quicksand - because they were told to do so.

9/11 is still the key to it all. It was an inside job.
