This order gives the govt the power to grab and detain you if a govt official deems you are ill with a contagious disease. Hmmm... wonder if they will add this fall's "swine flu" pandemic to the list of communicable diseases? And what happens if flu shots are mandatory and you refuse? Will they haul you off to a fema camp?

Revised List of Quarantinable Communicable Diseases
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 361(b) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 264(b)), it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Based upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (the ``Secretary''), in consultation with the Surgeon General, and for the purpose of specifying certain communicable diseases for regulations providing for the apprehension, detention, or conditional release of individuals to prevent the introduction, transmission, or spread of suspected communicable diseases, the following communicable diseases are hereby specified pursuant to section 361(b) of the Public Health Service Act:
(a) Cholera; Diphtheria; infectious Tuberculosis; Plague; Smallpox; Yellow Fever; and Viral Hemorrhagic Fevers (Lassa, Marburg, Ebola, Crimean-Congo, South American, and others not yet isolated or named).
(b) Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which is a disease associated with fever and signs and symptoms of pneumonia or other respiratory illness, is transmitted from person to person predominantly by the aerosolized or droplet route, and, if spread in the population, would have severe public health consequences.
Sec. 2. The Secretary, in the Secretary's discretion, shall determine whether a particular condition constitutes a communicable disease of the type specified in section 1 of this order.
Sec. 3. The functions of the President under sections 362 and 364(a) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 265 and 267(a)) are assigned to the Secretary.
Sec. 4. This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit enforceable at law or equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, entities, officers, employees or agents, or any other person.
Sec. 5. Executive Order 12452 of December 22, 1983, is hereby revoked.

Could be when I write a letter to the school informing them that My daughter has a physician in charge of her care and not to inject her that she will be sent home.I would anticipate fines,withholding of SS benefits,Medicare and in the worst-case scenario raids at homes of those refusing and swift quarantine,incommunicado of course.
ReplyDeleteThe question I plan to pose to the local school board and newspaper will be just who will be sued for damages if mandated shots should cause hospitalization or death. Would it be the school,the state or the federal beast ?
The fight for constitutional rights is coming home very soon. As with most draconian austerity measures the majority of stupid cattle will accept anything willingly,some even eagerly welcoming the protection mandated by the state.
The first community to refuse will be the Jehova´s Witnesses. Conspiracy theorist nut-jobs like myself will also refuse,and some will defend the CONSTITUTION when those sworn to uphold it shrink from their responsibility.

I'm with you all the way Korn.. there is no way in hell I'm taking their shot nor will any member of my family. They are surely prepping the public with their scare tactics which started back in the spring when the flu first "appeared." I can think of many people who will gladly line up to be injected with baxter's deadly brew.

And I said to myself "Oh, joy! The Germ Police was just been formed!" Can't wait until they start putting me thru a different cavity search and body scan for germs and to see an uniformed cop in the bathroom next to the sink, making sure that everybody washes their hands with soap and water. These are, indeed, fucked up times we're living in!
Sister, I'm sure that airport announcement was only the beginning. Probably soon you will be fined if you go out in public without wearing a mask. It's just another bar in the control grid that they are locking us all into.

That was the first public acknowlegment I've heard so far but I have seen Orientals wearing masks all over the airport, my assumption is that they're from China and since they went thru the same with the Bird Flue, they're kinda used to it by now.

I was back in the USA for the first time in 15 years last summer. A lot has changed. Airport security, the way people look at one another, the constant fear mongering messages broadcasted, the empty malls, half the family on the couch watching TV while the other half runs from job to job, credit cards needed to get gas, multiple road control stations along the highways, police roundups on a saturday night in a favorite country western bar in the mountains, guns and ammo removed from the house, no more shooting cans in the desert, daily shootouts in the big city (burning bird) and T-town, people unable to speak complete sentences or correct english, hospital's run like a business out to make real profit, high schools being built to resemble high security prisons with armed guards and all....bible thumpers rushing to get to the local gun club to shoot a few rounds on a sunday afternoon after spending more than half the day in church. I give up. It sucks to stay away too long. You tend to notice things.

These people want it and ask for it because the propangada machine has already convinced that "if you don't anything wrong, you don't need to worry" and "it's all for your protection" (read the whole article and you'll see that in there). Remember how the propaganda machine works: first, they put the fear of god into you; then they have you asking for protection and then they screw you! That is exactly what's happening in this country today. Every time I hear/see and idiot who spews "well, I'm not a criminal, I'm not doing anything wrong, I have nothing to worry about" - I swear I feel like smacking them on the mouth and rattling their empty heads!
