I just recieved this. In fact I do not even know how to produce the actual full screen shot. Perhaps some of you all could help me.
Anyway, now while this may not be as big time as Stephen Lesser on Faux Snooze (please note sarcasm)but it is still
pretty cool.
This is a documentary that some young people from Ohio put on about the RNC in St Paul last year. I was interviewed in it and you can watch the documentary here.
While some like Stephen Lesser and Rob Kall may get that
golden microphone, these kids went out and created their own. just like we are here. We do not need Op Ed Snooze, Faux Snooze or the Noow Yawk Times.

screen shot is easy...
ReplyDelete1.pause the clip with you in the dramatic pose of some kind... (the pic you want)...
2.look at your keyboard. somewhere it says "Print Scr"
3. pull up Microsoft Paint
4. hit "Cont + V" (paste)
5. you will have a pic of the entire screen from your computer.
6. go to the side bar of the Paint screen and look for the "Lasso" button (looks like a little dotted line lasso)
7. Click that button then move cursor to upper left corner of the pic you want, left click and drag the lasso to the bottom right corner.
8. when you have the pic you want go inside that lassoed pic and right click then hit COPY
9. open a new file in Microsoft Paint (don't save the old one)
10. and hit CONT + V again... and there is your screenshot picture.
11. now save as a JPEG or whatever you want...
10 steps if you don't count save.
now that is $350.73 that you owe me for IT consulting fees.

I really am this clueless with computers. Hell, I just learned spell check and e mail about two years ago. I am also a two finger picker.

In the upper left hand side of the working page of the Microsoft Paint application, it gives you the option to save the file (Save As)... the picture you want....
ReplyDeleteclick that, and then it will ask where you want to save it too usually My Pictures
you have two info fields at the bottom of that Save As box 1. is the title of the picture (what you want to name it) and 2 is Save As TYPE
Save As Type will have a drop down ARROW on the right side of the box, hit that...
you will see a list of TYPES of picture files to save it as... I recommend "JPEG"
click on "JPEG" and then hit SAVE
Now I could just get you to give me the location of the image you want in the video (time stamp) and I could do it for you in about a minute....

ReplyDeleteSeriously, great summation of the retro nazi convention. Is it just my computer or did some interviewees not have sound? Oh my god, that poor kid who was arrested and tortured by the f'n pigs. This video illustrates with what will be one of my feature "issues"here.. the police state. Nothing has changed with the new administration and has in effect escalated.
PS: I think I like you best screaming into a bullhorn!
