Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks… 16. Clarify that the Affordable [sic] Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes… 17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities. 18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers Fund ‘private security’ to explode the US police state. 19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.”

Why “Executive Actions”? To rule by diktat, bypassing the Legislative and Judicial branches.
We face this tyranny armed at this point. Are we now to give up our arms in face of such prima facea despotism?

Those who say “yes” to this deserve the tyranny they receive. Either at the hands of the current regime, or some perchance ‘revolutionary’ regime that might replace it.

Semiautomatic weapons and large-capacity magazines put lives at risk.” The Newtown fourth-grade girl asked that people opposed to gun control visit the town’s municipal offices, which are lined with boxes full of cards and letters, and to read one card from every box to realize just how many people want a change in gun laws. [Yes, she asked for people to visit the 'town's municipal offices.' Now, how many *fourth-graders* do you know who pontificate about 'large-capacity magazines' and 'municipal offices?' Obama turns doctors into gun control snitches running health care spy network 16 Jan 2013 As part of Obama’s 23 executive orders announced today, doctors will be transformed into gun control snitches who are ordered by Obama to ask patients about guns they might have at home. What this means is that doctor-patient confidentiality is now history. Even worse, doctors are being pressed to start interrogating patients about whether they own guns so that this information can be reported to the government. This is all being done under the cover of so-called “gun safety” but it’s really about turning doctors into devious government spies who conduct covert patient interrogations under the cover of providing them with health care. Once collected by the government, this information will then be used to seize guns from those individuals under some kind of mental health designation.

Texas Proposal: JAIL Any Federal Officials Trying to Enforce New Gun Restrictions in the State 15 Jan 2013 A Texas lawmaker says he plans to file the Firearms Protection Act, which would make any federal laws that may be passed by Congress or imposed by Presidential order which would ban or restrict ownership of semi-automatic firearms or limit the size of gun magazines illegal in the state, 1200 WOAI news reports. Republican Rep. Steve Toth says his measure also calls for felony criminal charges to be filed against any federal official who tries to enforce the rule in the state. “If a federal official comes into the state of Texas to enforce the federal executive order, that person is subject to criminal prosecution,” Toth told 1200 WOAI’s Joe Pags Tuesday. He says his bill would make attempting to enforce a federal gun ban in Texas punishable by a *50,000 fine and up to five years in prison.

Oregon, Texas officials warn White House against enforcing new gun regulations 16 Jan 2013 State officials in Oregon and Texas are vowing to fight back against any attempt by the federal government to impose new gun control laws. The warnings come as President Obama on Wednesday unveiled a comprehensive plan to address gun violence, based on the recommendations from the Vice President Biden-led task force. The plan includes a call for legislation to ban assault weapons as well as a variety of executive actions. But in Oregon, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller wrote a letter to Biden Monday saying his department will not enforce any new gun laws it considers unconstitutional. Meanwhile, 1200 WOAI reports that in Texas, state Rep. Steve Toth (R) plans to introduce a bill that would make it illegal to enforce in the state any federal laws restricting semi-automatic firearms or the size of gun magazines.”
