ReplyDeleteRe: Paterno may have been killed... Recently there was a trial in Phila. and a monsignior and a priest were convicted. In trial preparations some time ago, a former head of the archdiocese, Anthony Cardinal Bevilaqua was supposed to give a deposition or some sort of testimony. He had quite some health problems, including Alzheimer's, so a judge had to rule on if he were fit to do so. He was found fit. But... right after that and before any testimony, the Cardinal passed away. There were questions raised and an investigation, but the death was finally ruled by natural causes.
Still, one has to wonder, I suppose.
