Forum in the U.S. Capitol: 1911 Chinese Xinhai Revolution -- Review
    and Outlook

    Thursday, October 6, 2011, 12 noon - 2:30 p.m.
Room HVC-215, the U.S. Capitol, Washington, DC

One hundred years ago in 1911, the Chinese people were faced with an
historic choice. The ancient imperial system was out of step with the
modern world, and the Chinese people were looking for a replacement
for the imperial government. The Xinhai Revolution, also known as the
Revolution of 1911, took place under this situation. It overthrew the
monarchy and established the first democratic republic in Asia.

Unfortunately, one century since the Xinhai Revolution, China's fate
has been tumultuous and destructive. After the Chinese Communist
regime usurped power, the divine land of China and the Chinese people
have suffered unprecedented catastrophes in its 62 years of tyrannical
    rule. Traditional Chinese culture and moral values were destroyed;
collusions and corruption have been common practices within the
Communist government; and the Chinese people do not have freedom and
    dignity under the tyranny.

Today, after one hundred years, history is again coming to a turning
point. Inside Mainland China, there has already been an outbreak of
spiritual/conscience awakening and an ongoing massive resistance
against the tyrannical rule of communism. Will the Chinese people be
able to get out from the Red Terror? They are, once again, faced with
an historic choice that will determine their future. At this special
occasion, it is appropriate to look back at history and look forward
for a democratic future in China. It is significant for us to seek
the truth out of history and to carry our responsibility for the future.

This Forum of "The 1911 Chinese Xinhai Revolution - Review and
Outlook" is co-organized by the Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition,
Huang-Hua-Gang Magazine, the Epoch Times - Washington DC, Asia
Democracy Alliance, the League of Chinese Victims, the National
Committee for the Democratic Party of China, the Chinese Freedom and
Democracy Party, etc. Well-known scholars, activists, and specialists
in the field will be speaking at this forum to elaborate on the topic.
It is open to the public; however, attendees need to register with
the contact below. Admission is free; seats are limited.

    Speakers/Panelists:
Mr. Jingsheng Wei, Chairman, Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition
Mr. Haonian Xin, Historian, Scholar on China Contemporary History
Dr. Sen Nieh, Professor and Chairman, The Catholic University of America
Dr. Tianliang Zhang, Columnist, The Epoch Times; Adj. Prof., George
    Mason University
Members of U.S. Congress (Invited); and other panelists invited

Moderators: Dr. Xingyu Chen and Dr. Tsuwei Hwang

  7. I disagree about the unions Will. They are comprised of hard working people that have been screwed by the system too. The unions since Reagan have been pretty much squashed. We need to support the tradesmen and welcome them. Their ceo type union leaders however can join the banksters in hell.

  8. The US is composed of hard working people that have been screwed by the system. It is the leaders running the system that have screwed them.

The Unions are systems run by 'leaders' as well, it is the leaders running those systems that have screwed them.

Joining the Occupy movement as 'members' of a system, is joining the movement as not individual people, but as members "persons" of a system.
There is MONEY involved and LEADERS involved. Tradesmen are at the core individuals. They should join the movement as individuals without cover of an institution.

  11. Oh ye of little faith! How can u say that so soon? MSM is still barely covering it even with 20K or more in NYC and occupy cities all over the country. They are still making derogatory remarks about the protesters.

The equipment they are using to broacast to livestream is not very good, keeps fading in and out and lots of sound problems. If they've sold out already it's sure not manifesting yet. I don't like some of the people representing there but that doesn't mean the whole movement is lost.

Maybe that's what "they" want you to think to bring morale down. Don't be so quick to judge Will. Watch how it develops first.

  12. The unions have been decimated by jobs being sent overseas. THose left in them have had their wages, benefits and pensions cut.

Unions have had very little power for decades. The unions aren't the problem today the global banksters and corporations are.

Anyway you are right JG in a way...I can't say it's over. I don't say it's over, I say the infiltration has begun.

These folks are going to have to be wiser than they have ever shown themselves to be Deb. We will see if that is possible...we'll see.

  14. Agreed Will.. So many young impressionable kids. But I think the ptb want us to dismiss them as dumb kids or being controlled by Soros' clan. Otherwise, wouldn't it be getting good press on the MSM instead of pure shit coverage? They'd also have better freakin' equipment by now !

    ReplyDelete
  15. It's not the "dumb impressionable kids" that bother me Deb...it is those who have to appear as part of some organization that put me on edge.

I still say - being there as an individual is what counts.
I still don't like the idea of the orgs getting involved as orgs...

The MSM will be what they are regardless: Fuck the MSM...
I'm not worried about that either.

What I worry about is co-option on the ground.
Sometimes it is better to be "uneducated" - educated often means systemically conditioned - habituated to the systems way of thinking.

I trust the kids and people who can't necessarily articulate why they are there, more than any smooth talkers...

But this seems to be growing and perhaps growing chaotically - which is best all the way around.

    I hate to say it - but I'd like to see this go French {if you know what I mean..}
    \\][//

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oui Oui Will ! I also hate the smooth talking snake oil salesmen there. But most are people of good intentions that can be swayed by the greasy salesman. That's what I worry about but as long as it's not the majority...viva la revolution !

Btw, Michael Cavlan was in the chat earlier and accused me of ignoring him. It was moving so fast I didn't see him. lol Then I just got an email from an old friend from Nova M radio saying she saw my name in chat and I didn't see HER either. Damn, their eyes are better than mine apparently!

“Greed and recklessness by the titans of Wall Street triggers the largest financial crash since the Great Depression”
Actually ,it was Fannie and Freddie that triggered the collapse.

“The meltdown’s devastation ripples around the world from California to Iceland and China”
Only countries that were over-leveraged were impacted.
“The victims of the meltdown fight back”
The so-called victims figting back had little or no loss to the collapse. Most of the victims were the traders on Wall Street.

“Shaken world leaders question the very foundations of modern capitalism ”
Actually, it was excessive spending and borrowing that caused the most damage to coutries, not capitalism.

Thanks for another shining example of failed journalism and not knowing how finance and economics work. Coalition Of The Oblivious must be proud.

  26. Ray McGovern was on Alex Jones show yesterday and he lambasted him about OWS and his constant harping on it being co-opted. He let him have it in the nicest way that only Ray can do. He told him that of course those people are there trying to co-opt the movement. They are always there. But this is a movement of the people and they will not be co-opted by the powerful interests. He even suggested to AJ that he'd be back telling him I told you so when the movement of the people grows even bigger.

That's exactly how I feel.. Dammit, people. If you watch the livestream and you see these dedicated young college kids who can't find a job you'd have to stand behind them and root for them and do everything you can to talk up their movement instead of talking like a bunch of old defeatists. THIS is all the people have as far as recourse living within a corrupt government.

If any of you have any other solution to offer up besides taking money out of banks, buying gold and silver and living off the grid(all things already being advocated by the REAL people of OWS) then I'd sure like to hear it. Otherwise, you're just nothing but irritating white noise on a black screen.

This thing has just started. For god sake. Give them a chance before you bury them in negativity. This is their future they are fighting for. How about we give them a little positive support?

I have been posting this comment on any forum discussing the Occupy movement: "If only one message/demand is made by most of the crowd, I would reccomend “return to following the constitution”. For that would rid us of the Federal Reserve, and allow money to be spent into circulation by the government rather than
being an immediate interest bearing debt, like Federal reserve notes are. We would have to end any wars that haven’t been declared by Congress…which is all of them… and restore the rights of the citizens that have been shredded by legislation like the Patriot Act, the Military commission act, etc, Also would get rid of many Federal government agencies and would allow those functions to return to individual states, like education food safety, etc. Notice how much of this sounds like Ron Paul?"

  36. “return to following the constitution”. ~WXman

    Caveats would be in order.

There is the problem of the 14th Amendment, and sovereign jurisdiction.
Voluntary Servitude is NOT unlawful under the constitution.
    *Involuntary Servitude is unlawful.

How does one volunteer for servitude? One might ask, and it is a good question because a lot of legally piggally has gone down in the smoke filled back rooms of the shysters.

By signing up for a Social Security Card, one becomes a 'Citizen of the United States of America' - this is a dual citizen arrangement, you are still a citizen of your home state, as well as now a citizen of the jurisdiction of DC.

The Congress has the Power [Art. 1., section 2, pph 17] to make legislation on any subject by full power of the law.
The way in which this power is phrased, means that the congress has absolutely unlimited power, trumping in fact any particular limits - as the body of the document is entirely limited to enumerated powers, and has nothing about 'limiting' those powers - the just need to be enumerated.
Whereas the Bill of Rights is the opposite form of instruction, giving rise to lawful use of "implication" and extrapolation.

Now the fact that this power is granted by the constitution as a specific power, and is read to mean total and complete power to legislate as they see fit; it makes no difference if other articles seem to be in conflict with this enumeration. They do conflict - but as a matter of law, it is irrelevant.
    In fact, the way this paragraph is phrased trumps the entirety of the rest of the document. {and it is proposed by deep alternative historians, that this was the crux of setting up a covert oligarchy from the very beginning - lending much weight to the assertions that the Convention was a counter insurgency operation - a technical coup d'etat}
It is posited that Jay, Hamilton, and possibly Madison [however he is usually considered a dupe] were Tory moles.
But further it is proposed that the general assembly were for the most part, Illuminated Masons, part of the Golden Quest, and in sympathy with Bavarian Illuminati.
This goes deep and far back into history beginning with Bacon, a genius of almost unimaginable intelligence, who designed a plan looking forward for centuries.

Long story short however is this - You have to have a SS number to live in the US now,,,it is like the mark of the beast, you cannot buy or sell without it.
All who have a SS number are lawfully citizens of the United States, and are under total dominance of the federal government - in ANY action they take.
So-called "Constitutional Law" itself has been a ruse from the very beginning.
This only applied to the citizens of DC until the 14th Amendment.

Eyewitness observers suggest that the deliberations of the general assembly are largely a diversion, and that real power is being increasingly concentrated in the hands of about 20 mysterious and anonymous individuals who appear to make up a kind of covert steering committee that pulls the strings on the general assembly, or else goes around it completely. The members of this cadre of mysterious operatives are not as young as the average demonstrator. The secret leadership is made up of people ranging in age from 25 to over 40, with the older ones occupying the key posts. Many of them appear to be active duty or recently retired military.~Tarpley
