I do feel a disturbance in the force. Maybe we should check that holomovie in R2D2.
ReplyDeleteA princess is somewhere in danger. The hero is late to arrive...must be TSA fondling around in their studebaker lines with bees in their bonnets.
Amerika is about to do a full on Edsel...give grama her gummybear vitamins and roll me a zeppelin.

I have to check in at "Home" to know what's going on at COTO now....a bumbling half assed necessity in krakkerville webnoid.
ReplyDeleteTime for that Hindenberg...light, camera, action, sanction.

"poisoning (of the birds) was ruled out"... Right, who would have even thought of poison killing all those birds? What bullshit !
ReplyDeleteIt's much easier and wiser to believe that thousands of birds simultaneously suffered massive heart attacks brought on by new year's eve fireworks. I guess they were all naive and immature little baby birds that fell dead to earth or they would have surely remembered the noise from the July 4th celebration ...
Will, what do you mean "check in at home"?
ReplyDeleteCOTO homepage, it has the newer posts on the blog menu--I'm not getting my email updates "anymore anymore anymore...I'm only five foot for and I'm looking up at the city...I won't grow anymore anymore anymore"~Iggy Stooge
ReplyDeleteHaven't you ever been home deary? Time for your ruby slippers, now click your heels and say...

The whole story about the birds is a load of it. But there is a truth underlying somewhere--it is the fact that large agro hates blackbirds...and they have been poisoned in mass before.
ReplyDeleteOne farmer killed close to 20,000 in his own fields about five years ago. He was nabbed and sentenced to a year and a half in prison. But I don't know if he really served his time or not--just that while it was in the news, that's where the story ended. You never know if he got "Bailed" by big money later. [sorta the Timothy McViegh alive on the Riviara theory on a smaller scale.]

birds..trauma, yeah a few hundred feet drop sure causes that.
ReplyDeletefish, why ONE species an thats a bottom feeder?
two other reports on birds also.
and they arent grain feeders, rules out poison grain bait. and at night? they sleep, normally. insectivores, need a huge volume of specifically poisoned bugs to do that, eat some fruit? again late onset and why? mainly one species?
no organ damage? gee thats a fast result..or not. its far too fast.
they dont fly round in thunderstorms at night either, so why fireworks is suggested is farcical.
Radio station XERF where Wolfman Jack broadcast from in Acuna Mexico had so much power that birds flying close to the antennae would fall down dead. OK ?
