After years of empire building, illegal wars, murders, CIA assaults on humanity, greed, high living and ambivalence to this government and NATO butchering, the peoples of the world would not blink an eye if were gone and COTO, you know it. Barry O has plenty of time to have the staging for a triad of N. Korea, Israel and Middle East theatres to include a domestic agenda with homegrown fingerprints all over it. The enemy is in charge and our numbers worldwide may be diminishing at alarming speed if more information about the CIA, Pentagon and shadow government and their fifty year assault on innocent populations comes to light.
It's hard to know what underlying fear and loathing or outright hatred may be generating worldwide. I know that these populations and cultures aren't drinking the punch and they have first hand knowledge of the black Ops and propaganda regarding American culture. They may be jealous or outraged but what difference does that make in war?

I agree with you, Rady. From my perspective, it looks like people are feeling much more sympathetic toward the US. We hear how bad the economy really is--worse than most places, Ireland and Greece strike me as exceptions. Furthermore, Barack is popular in most countries. There wasn't any "hopium" involved. they were glad to see a black dude, a "democrat" get elected, and were mostly happy to the see the end of the reign of the monkey-faced cowboy dude. Barack has made a better impression abroad--most people don't look very deep and don't see that he is really continuing and expanding Bush's travesties.

In general, though, America (or really, its trans-national elite) is itw own worst enemy.

But, the building did not suddenly pulverize. I guess the building didn't get the memo about post-9/11 physics. (Just like Joe Stack's building.)

It was a 28-floor RESIDENTIAL building, housing 150 families. If there's any good news, the fire started at lunch time, so this could have been much, much worse.
