Another good one

  1. Yea...that is a great little anti-commercial. The juxtaposition works great--the shoppers are such lunatics...amazing.

Was that Peter Coyote narrating? It looked and sounded rather like the Zeitgeist production.

Thanks for this John, very cool.

  6. I am posting this HERE so you won't miss this information. I posted it on the thread below as well.

This video of crazed shoppers is frightening in its depiction of the idiocy of the masses. How many folks paid with a credit card do you think? Lunatics. And they stood in line for hours as well probably. What will they do when they run out of shelter, food, heat, the essentials? We just saw it. Locusts with guns is what they'll be. It will also be very bad to be a banker or politician in the coming crisis. Fools run amok is what we will be facing.

South Korea: dispatch from the frontline of World War Three

According to local media, the North Koreans used “hyperbaric,” or fuel-air, explosives – rare and unusually destructive weapons, only just this side of breaching international law. But then the attack itself, Pyongyang’s first, in its own words, “precisely aimed” land assault on South Korea's civilians since the end of the war in 1953, broke wholly new and dangerous ground.

The war-games will take place in a part of the sea at least fifty miles south of Yeonpyeong, but that hasn’t stopped North Korea threatening to turn them into a conflict for real. “The situation is inching closer to the brink of war due to the reckless plan of those trigger-happy elements to stage again the war exercises targeted against the (North),” the state news agency said, calling it an “unpardonable provocation” and promising a “shower of dreadful fire.”

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20101128/twl-n-korea-could-deliver-brutal-blow-41f21e0.html
North Korea has placed surface-to-surface missiles on launch pads in the Yellow Sea and the reclusive state had moved surface-to-air missiles near frontline areas.

The reports came as the United States and South Korea began joint military exercises in waters west of the Korean Peninsula in the face of opposition by China and threats of "consequences" from Pyongyang.
The North's official KCNA news agency warned of retaliatory action if its territory is violated.

"We will deliver a brutal military blow on any provocation which violates our territorial waters," KCNA said.

North Korea threatens a 'sea of fire' as the South begins posturing war games with US

South Korea's Defence Ministry has now ordered reporters to leave Yeonpyeong, saying 'the situation is not good' on the island following the start of the military drills.
The South Korean president, Kim Dae-Jung has meanwhile warned his country to be ready for a surprise attack by the North.

His warning came as a state-run website in the North warned that the military exercises would be an 'unpardonable provocation' and that it would create a ' sea of fire' if any of its territory was violated.
The latest explosions in the South were heard but there were no confirmations that anything had been fired. No witnesses saw explosions and there was no damage.

  9. * * * INTERNET OUTAGE? * * *

Did anyone here experience internet problems on Sunday? Could this explain the seeming absence of Puddy Dunne and JG? --I have just seen the following exchange on Facebook:

    [Individual 1]

What a piece of S#!t Comcast is. Internet service down Boston to DC!!!! UGH! Comcast Sucks!!!!!!!

    [Individual 2]

    Ugh. I'm sorry.

    [Individual 3]

    GRRRRR!

    [Individual 4]

I think New London is the only town in CT that Comcast does not cover! That sucks!

    [Individual 1]

Thank God for my iPhone. Of course I have several actors in Florida I can't communicate with for a shoot tomorrow. Just hope they call if they have a problem... Comcast ...grrrrr!!!!

    [Individual 5]

Problems here, too. No internet and they won't take any calls. Must be a huge outage. I'd be willing to bet they were hacked. There's no way it could be this big a FUBAR otherwise. Too many nodes are down at the same time. Cyber terrorism in action!

    [Individual 6]

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Just got on now (been down for hours). All other PC and laptops still w/o internet! Been calling Comcast/busy signal FOREVER! UGHHHH

    [Individual 7]

Just got my service back. I tried to call comcast and I would always get disconnected during the time I was down. But up and going now
