I was sent this violent "infomercial" on climate change by Oz this morning. However, I was unable to open the link. I got a message that the video was "private." So luckily, I happened to catch the end of the Alex Jones show and he played the video. Paul Joseph Watson has it posted on infowars.com with an article on it that you can read here. The video has since been pulled from the 10:10 site with an apology to anyone who may have found it offensive. Offensive? Blowing children up for not agreeing to teacher's suggestion to cut their carbon footprint by 10% is offensive?! Shame on Richard Curtis. I rather liked his other productions too ~jg.

Today we put up a mini-movie about 10:10 and climate change called 'No Pressure’.
"With climate change becoming increasingly threatening, and decreasingly talked about in the media, we wanted to find a way to bring this critical issue back into the headlines whilst making people laugh. We were therefore delighted when Britain's leading comedy writer, Richard Curtis - writer of Blackadder, Four Weddings, Notting Hill and many others – agreed to write a short film for the 10:10 campaign. Many people found the resulting film extremely funny, but unfortunately some didn't and we sincerely apologise to anybody we have offended."
"As a result of these concerns we've taken it off our website. We won't be making any attempt to censor or remove other versions currently in circulation on the internet."

I found the ad a bit offensive only because the wrong folks were getting blown up. I would have rather seen some CEO's and politicians go up in smoke.

Honestly, I don't like to see anyone blown up. 'scanners" cured me of that. However, I agree with Obtuse, I'd rather if anyone were blown up it would be those corporate & banker pigs that stand to make billions off of the carbon scam.

My take is the greenhouse gas fraudsters are losing it now that it's obvious their scam is not going anywhere. This is what Infowars said and I concur, opposite of what Obtuse said.
ReplyDeleteThe normal range of climate change that Earth undergoes due to solar cycles and instability is so vast that there were tropical forests in the polar regions alternating with ice sheets over what is today the USA. Just look at the alligator fossils above the arctic circle. The Bering Land Bridge only 20,000 years ago was three hundred feet above sea level.
But the greenhouse gas fraudsters are worried about the only thing between them and mass starvation, petroleum.
But don't worry cuz petroleum's running out at the rate of 85 million barrels per day. Worry instead about the stuff Puddy mentioned. It looks like a coup de grace for humanity from its satanic (or whatever you want to call them) elders. These violent hit films are desensitizing people to what is really occuring and it isn't funny.
Maybe the video is a falseflag though to ridicule the greenhouse gas people. Who knows.

Hi Puddy, salient points. as of very recently we also now have the inheriotance/estate Tax that we finally managed to get ditched, once again back on the GREEN agenda..with a big push for rich philanthropy and a big suck sugary appeal, for how Nice...gates is.

the thought struck me if we wanted to use polluting explosives then removing the much lesser representatives of the populace ie the AGW Goreites would have been Much more eco friendly.
