ReplyDeleteWith my wireless web connect an hour or more video costs me a fortune...er, about 40 bucks to watch. Yea, it's crazy, but I'm stuck with the 'contract'...y'all know how that goes.

Clean the garage and start from scratch. Living like natives again. I may scratch the tube entirely soon. Football season makes it hard though ;)
I can't do it Patrick. Giving up tv is not something I want to do. Though I'm seriously considering it just to save the money.
ReplyDeleteI do like to keep track of what's going on once in a while with the talking heads. Even though I can't watch any of them for more than 10mins.
Ohh and I love animal planet and yea there is the issue of the Phillies & Eagles ;) I am a fan. Btw, Michael Vick should be torn apart by a pack of pit bulls that would be justice IMO. ( don't really want to see that but that would be punishment to fit the crime now wouldn't it?)
I watched it last night except for the last twenty minutes. I even typed out what was being said with no problem until I got to William Robinson talking about Polyarchy. After a few tries I got it all but not the last sentence. Just now trying to listen again, I am not getting any volume. Everything is working and I hear sound, but not from the video. Has anyone else noticed this? I will send it to my neighbor and find out if he is hearing it. jerseyg - Instead of giving pit bulls the bad rap, just throw the guy into a mound of fire ants. I have a pit and she is a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya James. I love pits too. They have gotten a bad rap for far too long because of criminals like Vick and his ilk.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorite shows on animal planet are "pit boss" and "pit bulls and parolees". Both shows are trying to change the public's attitude about these naturally sweet tempered dogs.

Thanks jerseyg for the alternate site. No sound there also. I tried another PC and no sound again. Then I tried YouTube, no sound. Now that is too weird, but lets you know they are everywhere.
