The UN wants to make all firearms subject to international law. The Arms Trade Treaty could:
Prohibit firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public.
Prohibit any transfer of firearm ownership.
Require US citizens to deliver any banned firearms they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.
Require micro-stamping on all guns.
Destruction of "excess" firearms.

The UN propaganda machine is hard at work churning out manipulated "facts." The UN says guns murder hundreds of thousands of people a year. Well, the UN conveniently forgot to leave out the fact that guns save lives. Each year, firearms are used 80 times more often to protect the lives of innocent citizens than to take lives. In the U.S. crime rates are the highest where gun laws are the most restrictive.

The UN Socialists claim that illegal guns used in armed conflicts kill 300,000 people a year. Again, the UN decided to leave out the evidence that armed conflicts aren't always necessarily bad. I guess the gun haters need to brush up on their American history and learn about a little thing called the American Revolution. Our founding fathers fought for freedom from a tyrannical and abusive government. If there was an Arms Trade Treaty in 1776, our country would not exist.

Maryland Gun Haters Take First Step Toward National Gun Ban

We warned America that gun-grabbers would try to bulldoze the recent Supreme Court victory. In 2002, DURING A FAMILY GATHERING, an armed intruder broke into Navy veteran, Raymond Woollard's home. Woollard pointed a gun at the criminal, while his young son grabbed another gun and waited for the police to arrive. After serving prison time, the ex-con moved three miles away from Woollard! Last year, determined to protect his family from the violent ex-con, Woollard tried to renew his conceal carry permit. The state of Maryland DENIED Woollard's request for a handgun permit renewal.

I don't know about you, but if someone attacked my family, and they moved into my neighborhood, I would be stocking up on guns and ammo.

Maryland denied Woollard's request because he could not prove that there was "a reasonable precaution against apprehended danger."

The Maryland Constitution crushers are becoming very creative in the way they hack away at the Second Amendment.

I guess Woollard could possibly have a fighting chance of obtaining his conceal carry permit if he obtained a written statement from his attacker proving "apprehended danger." For some reason, I think that is a highly unlikely scenario.

The Liberal gun-grabbers think Americans should entrust the government and law enforcement to protect them. Where were the law enforcement officers when the armed criminal broke into Raymond Woollard's house? If Woollard had not owned a firearm, he and his family would not be alive today to file this lawsuit with SAF.

Murders from gun violence in Baltimore have risen over 25% in the past year. There were 125 murders last week alone in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Gun-haters in San Francisco are scheming to force citizens to register their firearms under the miscroscope of Big Brother. The proposed legislation will track the sale and whereabouts of every firearm in the city. If San Francisco suceeds in choking American citizens with mandatory gun registration, anti-gun activists across the country will push for gun registration in EVERY SINGLE STATE. Your state could be next! We all know gun registration is the first step to gun confisgation!

It's no coincidence the anti-gun zealots are proposing their freedom supressing legislation the same time that the Gun Rights Policy Conference is being held in San Francisco on September 24-26. The anti-Second Amendment gang is sending a strong message that they want to completely obliterate our gun rights. I guess San Francisco has learned nothing from the failure of the proposed 2005 gun ban. Uber-Liberal, Michela Aliota-Pier is working closely with the City Attorneys Office to craft "gun safety legislation" erronesouly saying it will help defend Americans against crime.

The nut-job notion that stricter gun laws will crack down on crime is a Progressive pipe dream. Firearms are used defensively roughly 2.5 million times per year, more than four times as many as criminal uses. This amounts to 2,575 lives protected for every life lost to a gun. Stricter gun laws clearly do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO LOWER CRIME RATES.

Legal guns kill more crooks than cops do! Despite heaps of evidence to the contrary, the Liberal elite keep beating a dead horse by claiming gun control will curb crime. Well, I guess we can't be too surprised: The Liberal idelogues have a long history of alining themselves with self-created pet causes. Just look at global warming.
