What Could Happen?

  1. Nothing to kill or die for, Rady.
Of course you were speaking metaphorically I'm sure.
I'd say no less hopelessly, because we need a major cultural revolution debunking the warrior archtype, that we need to haul the oil executives before a judge and jury in Louisiana for criminal negligence and make them explain why they did things which everyone in the industry knew were at best careless and at worst insane or conspiratorial.
Let's do it now while the thing still gushes crude and gas and their memories are sharp. They've already divulged enough to indict. Who might they finger farther up the chain of command? I mean, above BP executives, the corporate finance in the big game of Peak Oil on up to central banks which operate through government politicians, agencies and officials. and it will be more fun for awhile! If they wanna finger someone who put them up to it, remember dead men don't tell stories, so we want these people to be alert when they testify not stiff like the birds in the Gulf.
Some people made alot of money off jacking this rig into the Gulf. Let's follow the money, because billions are being stolen right this minute from the taxpayers in the Lieberman energy bill which is coincidentally reaching the floor. Carbon is the new bad, and they want to tax it while pushing expensive and dangerous nuclear power directly tied to the elite. It is hard to accept so much coincidence like it all just happened right now by accident.
A real investigation of this and 9/11 could put the worst criminals at the top behind bars and that would send a much better massage for a long time than just another doomed war.

  2. That tells the tale M. 5 stars.

Mary, you're absolutely right, holding them ALL responsible is the key..... Big oil, the government. However, in this fascist state, no one with the power to do so will hold them accountable. You know that, I know that, all of coto knows that. Only we the people have the real power en masse So how do we do it without full out revolution? Online petitions? Phone calls? Faxes? Snail Mail? Protests in free speech zones? Been there done that..futile.

I hate these bastards and I also hate the americans that just don't give a damn.

  3. There's only one hope, and that's because this disaster effects even the families of many of the cretins that are in the hip pocket of Big Oil and Big Banks, that a few of them turn and bite the hand that feeds them.

  4. :) That would end the committee for certain.

This oil spill, as devastating as it is represents only a fraction of the total pollution that has been dumped or deposited over the dripping faucet or slow leak corporate poisoning campaign for a century. We have seen trash Island in the pacific? Well friends that is all oil too.

They will eventually convince UNWO gestapo eugenicist's and the mass hypnotic global governance that the solution isn't oil, coal, polymer and gas corporates but the consumers, we the viral cause of the global disease. Love the plastic baby teething ring but hate the baby. That is of course unless it's the silver teething ring baby.
