  1. wow laudy.... that is powerful. I watched it three times. What a brilliant young man. People think Obama is a good speaker? Gimme a break.

This kid speaks from the heart and hits you right between the eyes with the truth. Something BO the robo prez seems incapable of doing.

Let's hope there are many soldiers out there who feel the same way. If there are, there is hope for this country yet.

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to send the link around to everyone I know.

  2. I just finished watching this powerful video and came to see if it was posted here at COTO. Brings tear to your eye. Such powerful stuff.

By the way, that is a real American speaking. One who knows what war is about, and not some paper tiger who sends men and woman off to die for profit. F! these bastards! F! everyone of them!

  3. the dialectic
    of us
    and them
    becomes we

    purrrrr ...

    James Madison
as the ghost of Festivus past ...

"The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home."

"If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy."

"It is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad."

"The executive has no right, in any case, to decide the question, whether there is or is not cause for declaring war."

purrrrr ... that brings to mind

    Paul O'Neil,
    Ex-Treasury Secretary
    and economic adviser
    for the 'decider'

"It was all about finding a way to do it. That was the tone of it. The president saying ‘Go find me a way to do this,’" says O’Neill. “For me, the notion of pre-emption, that the U.S. has the unilateral right to do whatever we decide to do, is a really huge leap.”

  4. Nice find.

Very sad Laudy, but very refreshing when I hear soldiers speak to the truth. It also makes me happy to see them with all their limbs and faculties as well.
