I have no doubt that the “health care reform” debate currently winding down in Congress has been intentionally muddled by both parties, the corporate media, and the insurance industry lobby’s deep pockets.
What we will end up with is some minor “insurance reform” and the major problems in health care will remain unaddressed, while insurance profits will continue to soar. It’s time to really look at what is possible and to stop bouncing off of labels and being prey to hot buttons.
Lobbyists don't want you to know that organized systems can work:

I'm going to be 64 in less than a week. During my life I've seen the US go from being a "Can Do!" nation of people who could make/do/fix almost anything in their garage workshop to a people who channel fear, confusion and ineptitude 24/7.
ReplyDeletePlease explain to me why small third world countries have more doctors per capita and great health care.....but we can't possibly figure out how to do it.
Laudy, you already know the answer to that. Corporate greed & kickbacks.
