(OT) I was just paid a little visit by an editor from OpEd News on my website. I only mention this because in my rather tempered response to him, I mentioned the COTO crew over here. You might want to check it out.
Also, he makes a rather odd statement right off the bat...
"I think Scott is mischaracterizing OpEd News because he disagrees with the site’s founder, and apparently has a personal grudge, looking to discredit Rob in his other pursuits."
I was going to say, "First there was the information revolution....and then there was the TMI revolution." It's true for other reasons -- Facebook and MySpace, built for the young, essentially leave your entire rolodex and online social life in full view of one and all.
When I have my own site for community networking, the privacy defaults are going to be different. Mine will be a site built by a GenXer, who knows the difference between poised professionalism on the one hand, and "letting it all hang out" on the other hand.
And never mind tweets, I'm going to have chirps that allow 240 characters, enough to finish a sentence!
Love it John!.... out cruisin' and partyin' while america burns. They are on their way to pick up the wall street gang then heading for the big nwo party given by Zbig & Kissinger...

What exactly are Rob's "other pursuits"? Curious.
