Let's Study Wind Patterns for Hurricane Potentials, Shall We?
I found 2 cool weather sites:
https://www.windy.com/
https://www.ventusky.com/
Also listed at source article below is -- http://rammb.cira.colostate.edu/ramsdis/online/
At ventusky, click on Wind tab on the left side, Thunderstorms, etc., whatever piques your interest. Sourced this from this guy who posted at -- https://beforeitsnews.com/v3/weather/2018/2447039.html
Let's see what's going on with the "potential" hurricanes being bandied about? I can't even find a remnant of them on http://www.weather.com. The current storm up in PA is huge, compared to "what?" Florence is supposed to be looking like.
Enjoy, and decide for yourselves if a 3 State Disaster Zone call is warranted.

ReplyDeleteYou talking about the square wave that they have had squelching any incoming precipitation? Maybe we can call it the Jerry Brown "curve ball" or something?

Jim Stone Freelance is calling BS on the hurricane(s) ratings and I agree.
ReplyDeleteWeather.com is propagandizing a Cat 4 right now (same with NOAA) as the SC and NC guvs are opening up evac routes away from the coasts. However, go to the sites listed above and look at the wind speeds and wind gusts on all 3 hurricanes.
Florence and Helene are barely hurricane status by any past measures. Isaac is just a cough. So, someone is manipulating the data, the ratings, and the snews to thw populace.
Keep tracking em.

ReplyDeleteExtremely dangerous’ Hurricane Florence may approach Category 5 as it churns toward the Carolinas

Maybe someone's gone "Postal" at the USPS? It warrants FBI and local "Law Enforcement" according to that report. Mysterious, oh no...
ReplyDeleteO.K., so here we have our handy dandy Kph to Mph calculator:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.unitconverters.net/speed/kph-to-mph.htm
At 10:10pm, the fastest wind gusts with Florence I see are 122mph. That's pretty fast. I believe torrential rain will be the biggest factor to the inland populace however.
