In recent years a book by Al Franken has been very popular in liberal circles: Rush Limbagh Is A Big Fat Idiot. Well, in that same theme I have decided to create an article with the same kind of sentiments and theme. Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Lying Hypocrite, in Honor of Stewart Smalley becoming Minnesota Senator, because he sure as hell is not ours.

With proven oil reserves of around 112 billion barrels and up to another 150 billion barrels of probable reserves, Iraq is the greatest untapped prize for international oil companies.
To put that in context, if Iraq does turn out to have around 300 billion barrels of oil, it will rival the world's biggest producer Saudi Arabia - which has around 160 billion barrels of proven reserves.

The latest from www.freegaza.org reports that the humanitarian vessel Spirit of Humanity has been attacked and boarded by the Israelis 23 miles off the coast of Gaza. Former US Congresswoman and Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney is among the 21 human rights workers taken prisoner from the ship.

The ability of the corporate state to pacify the country by extending credit and providing cheap manufactured goods to the masses is gone. The pernicious idea that democracy lies in the choice between competing brands and the freedom to accumulate vast sums of personal wealth at the expense of others has collapsed. The conflation of freedom with the free market has been exposed as a sham. The travails of the poor are rapidly becoming the travails of the middle class, especially as unemployment insurance runs out and people get a taste of Bill Clinton’s draconian welfare reform. And class warfare, once buried under the happy illusion that we were all going to enter an age of prosperity with unfettered capitalism, is returning with a vengeance.

The wholesale looting of America and the transfer of wealth and power over to a private banking elite who are setting up a world government, along with the complete obliteration of any remaining freedom to protest, resist, or even speak out against this agenda, is now entering its final phase as numerous different pieces of the jigsaw puzzle fall into place and portray a clear picture of tyranny.

In the current issue of Rolling Stone, Matt Taibbi describes how Goldman-Sachs manipulates our economy and profits at every turn: a “giant vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity.”
Your obvious display of disdain impresses no one. Be advised that the recent behaviour of you servants has not gone unnoticed.

The Harrisburg Chapter of the NAACP is calling on Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell to suspend some civil liberties and impose martial law in the city to halt the wave of recent lawlessness.
Chapter President Stanley Lawson also called on Rendell to bring in the state National Guard for at least 30 days and to impose a curfew. In June, there have been at least 12 shootings, many of them in the daytime, including a man killed Wednesday at a busy city intersection during the lunch hour.
Cleveland area Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) laid out the reasons he opposed and voted against H.R. 2454, The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009. The vast majority of fellow Democrats voted in favor of the measure which passed the House and is on the way to the Senate for a vote. Kucinich stated in a press release:
“I oppose H.R. 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009. The reason is simple. It won’t address the problem. In fact, it might make the problem worse.

Buried amid news stories about World Breastfeeding Week, World Suicide Prevention Day and World Rabies Day, the WHO has a small item giving the latest supposed count of ‘laboratory confirmed H1N1 cases. It is something on the order of 55,000 persons worldwide since this April at a factory pig farm in Veracruz Mexico a small child got ill and the world was told of a deadly new ‘Swine Flu’ that was allegedly spreading from pig to person. Yet the US Government is gearing up as if it were preparing for the new outbreak of the dreaded 1918 ‘Spanish Flu’ pandemic. The reality does not support the government response. Is something else going on?
Conyers' wife Monica pleads guilty to CONSPIRACY! OOps, did I say CONSPIRACY? No, this article must be wrong. Everybody knows there aren't conspiracies in politics...
The Conyers family, nothing but traitors to the US people.
Here is a GREAT example of the Matrix at work. The CNN Headline is "Detroit politician admits bribery"!
THIS IS THE WIFE OF ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL MEN IN THE USA. If it were an entertainment personality, it would read "Wife of Clint Eastwood admits...".

So he must be a hero who walks on water, right?
Rep. John Boehner made a valiant attempt to sway votes against this bill that proposes to enlist a green army to fine, tax and impoverish every middle and lower-class American.

What is this ad insinuating? The denigration of women?
Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50 apparently from cardiac arrest. No definitive announcement is expected until after the autopsy which could take place possibly tomorrow. May Michael r.i.p. He was much too young to die.
However due to his untimely death, all cable news channels will now suspend all other stories until after the funeral.
That is all.

Humor: Lusitania Truthers Vindicated
— Jon Cole
...Now a team led by County Waterford-based diver Eoin McGarry, on behalf of Lusitania's American owner, Gregg Bemis, has recovered live ammunition from the wreck ... This past September, Bemis's team used a remotely operated vehicle to penetrate the wreck. They were able to clearly identify a vast amount of ammunition in an area of the Lusitania not believed to have carried cargo. The Remington .303 caliber bullets the team discovered on the ship had been used by the British Military during WWI. Ten of the bullets were brought to the surface. “‘The charge that the Lusitania was carrying war materiel is valid,’ says Bemis. ‘She was a legitimate target for the German submarine.’”
One reason Americans are so extremely terrified about child abductions is that whenever we turn on the TV or computer, there’s another one. As if these horrific crimes are happening 24/7, when actually the media is only too happy to fly across the country — or world — to set up camp wherever a cute, white girl has disappeared. Tight news budgets get thrown out the window for a story like this. But because that story then shows up on our screen at home, it feels like it’s happening right around the corner. All the time.
A newly Free-Range mom dropped me a little note this morning trying to help all of us (herself included) put our fears in perspective: The chance of a child being kidnapped and murdered? 1 in 1.5 million. The chance of a child ending up at some point with some form of depression? 1 in 4.

You are going to watch 2 videos. One is real, the other is fake.
One was forgotten, never played on the MSM. One is running daily every channel, every web page.
One is about a struggle for the rights of a people, oppressed... the other is about changing a regime that just won an election.
In the one video, the protester was buried the next day and his family mourned... in the other, the funeral was "secret" and the family "not allowed" too mourn.
You are about to see two videos - both deal with death.
One is that of a man who gave his life for a cause... the other is about the death of truth and democracy in Iran.
David Dees' political satire illustrations set to the tune of Don Henley's "Inside Job". I think that could be our buddy Tom Murphy @ 1:16.......
President Barack Obama was forced to address accusations that the CIA was involved in fomenting the post-election riots in Iran during his White House press conference yesterday, claiming the allegations were “patently false,” despite the fact that the U.S. government publicly gave the CIA approval to undertake a destabilization campaign in Iran more than two years ago.

The American media’s one-sided and propagandistic coverage of the Iranian election has made an American hero out of the defeated candidate, Mousavi.
As official videographer for the U.S. government, Kurt Sonnenfeld was detailed to Ground Zero on September 11, 2001, where he spent one month filming 29 tapes: "What I saw at certain moments and in certain places ... is very disturbing!" He never handed them over to the authorities and has been persecuted ever since. Kurt Sonnenfeld lives in exile in Argentina, where he wrote « El Perseguido » (the persecuted). His recently-published book tells the story of his unending nightmare and drives another nail into the coffin of the government’s account of the 9/11 events.

My letter to the editor was published in our local paper, The Times Record, today. Just as I was posting this I learned about US drones killing another 45-50 people in Pakistan as they were attending a funeral of people who had recently been killed by these Unmanned Aerial Vehciles (UAV's). This situation is totally insane and Obama has to take responsibility. That is, if the peace movement, has the courage to call him on it.

This is the picture, the "money shot" as it's called in the industry... the sole remaining part of the "fake death scene" video posted on Andrew Sullivan's "breathless blog" extravaganza. This is the shot that I guess they are hoping will fire-up the "progressives" to support another imperial incursion into Iran... or at least another 400 billion dollars for more regime change businesses in the country. But as is often the case, truth is more horrible than fiction.

A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with neck cancer - squamous cell carcinoma. By the time I went under the knife six months later (I’ll save my medical horror story for another time) my surgeon told me that not only was the disease at stage 4, but that if I didn’t undergo radiation and chemotherapy, I’d be dead in a year. Well guess what? Not only did I not follow the doctor’s orders, but I’m alive, well, and fit to be tied. So I thought I’d share my experience with others so they don’t have to learn the hard way like I did. What happened to me, could happen to anyone.

First Paul Krugman comments that:
we still live in an era in which you have to have been wrong to be respectable. You’re not considered serious about national security unless you were for invading Iraq; you’re not considered a serious political analyst unless you spent the last 3 years of the Bush administration predicting a Republican comeback; you’re not considered a serious economic analyst unless you dismissed the idea that the Bush Boom, such as it was, rested on a housing bubble.
That’s why the firing of Dan Froomkin now makes a perverse sort of sense.

Most people don’t trust health insurance companies and with good reason. They are a powerful industry that is not easily prodded, pushed or intimidated into doing the right thing by their members.
Insurance companies routinely abuse the trust of patients and providers alike. A new report by Health Care for America Now outlines the habitual abuses perpetrated be health insurance companies, including leaving patients with high out-of-pocket costs, denying coverage for medically necessary care, preventing doctors from delivering care they feel is best for their patients, and unduly delaying reimbursement to patients and providers.
It was a good experience, they gave us and extra hour, so I guess that's a good thing.
It will be real interesting if RK actually accepts an invitation to debate us as to why we were banned. Now that would be a show! My bet is he won't do it. The man's a coward and a weak debater and he knows it.
