United States (Country threat level - 2): On 23 July 2010 Tropical Storm Bonnie picked up speed while moving along a west-northwesterly track toward Florida and the Gulf of Mexico, reaching maximum sustained winds of 46 mph/40 kt, with wind gusts of up to 75 mph/65 kt. The storm system is currently located approximately 130 mi/210 km southeast of Miami, Florida, and approximately 120 mi/193 km east of Marathon, Florida. According to meteorologists at Wilkens Weather Technologies, Bonnie is expected to move near or over the Florida Keys and southern Florida on 23 July and will affect eastern areas of the Gulf late that evening. The storm is projected to continue moving in a west-northwesterly direction for the next 48 hours, making landfall on the Louisiana coast on the morning of 25 July. Authorities expect the system to strengthen slowly until it makes landfall in eastern Louisiana, when it is expected to weaken significantly.

At 0900 UTC authorities issued a Tropical Storm Watch for the northern coast of the Gulf, stretching from Morgan City, Louisiana, to Destin, Florida. A previously issued Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for areas along the eastern and western coasts of Florida, including the Florida Keys, Florida Bay and Lake Okeechobee.

ROCKEFELLER SPP - THE UNHOLY PARTNERSHIP - TARGET CHAVEZ

Venezuela / Colombia (Country threat levels - 4 / 4): On 22 July 2010 Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez formally broke relations with Colombia after he was accused of harboring leftist rebels during a meeting of the Organization of American States (OAS). Colombia, which has long maintained that Venezuela shelters members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and National Liberation Army (ELN), presented hard evidence to support the allegations, including video footage, photos, maps of guerrilla encampments and eyewitness testimony. The Colombian ambassador to OAS called on Venezuela to allow impartial international observers to access the sites. Chavez responded by closing the Venezuelan Embassy in Bogota and issuing a 72-hour deadline for the evacuation of Colombian diplomats from Venezuela. Chavez also issued a “maximum alert” for areas along the Colombian border.

ASI Comment: The latest development alters very little in the relationship between Colombia and Venezuela. Relations between the two countries have been at a standstill since 2009, when Chavez froze cross-border trade and increased the troop presence along the border over Bogota’s decision to lease military bases to the United States. The recent accusations -- which have undoubtedly deepened these existing tensions -- are nevertheless unlikely to cause a military confrontation between the two countries. Rather, they will likely result in a series of rhetorical skirmishes between Caracas and Bogota over the next several weeks. On 7 August, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe will be replaced by President-elect Juan Manuel Santos, which may ease the current crisis.

Kosovo (Country threat level - 4): On 22 July 2010 the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague issued a non-binding advisory opinion stating that Kosovo's declaration of independence from Serbia in February 2008 did not violate international law. Ten of the justices voted in favor of this ruling, four against and one abstained. Although the ruling was disappointing for Serbia, there were no reports of protests in that country. In Mitrovica, an ethnically divided town in northern Kosovo, approximately 600 Serbs assembled to protest the ruling, while Albanians gathered in another part of the town to celebrate. There were no reports of violence or disturbances at either event. The ICJ ruling is expected to prompt more countries worldwide to recognize Kosovo's sovereignty, although those countries that have most forcefully opposed the country's independence thus far -- including Serbia, Russia, China and others -- will not change their stance.

Egypt (Country threat level - 3): A large number of Coptic Christians staged a protest march and sit-in at the prominent Coptic Patriarchate Cathedral in Cairo on 22 July 2010 in response to the recent disappearance of a Coptic priest's wife. Hundreds to thousands of supporters gathered at the church with some taking part in the sit-in. Organizers stated that the sit-in will continue until the woman is returned. Many of the Coptic protesters allege that authorities and/or Islamists had a hand in her abduction. Police have denied any role in the incident. Security forces were deployed throughout the protest area and at one point surrounded the building in an effort to keep protesters from spilling into the streets; however, the demonstrators were able to carry out the planned march. Protest organizers stated that several thousand more Coptic supporters were supposed to be in attendance from other areas of the country but authorities prevented their buses from reaching the area earlier in the day. There were no reports of major violent incidents during the event.

ASI Comment: Due to the ongoing tense relations between Muslims and Christians in Egypt, there are concerns that a protracted demonstration and/or protest action could lead to violence with the potential involvement of security forces. Clashes and isolated violent incidents between Christians and Muslims in Egypt have occurred in the past. Travelers to Cairo should avoid any areas where protests occur and should keep abreast of these developments while in the country.

Iraq (Country threat level - 5): On 22 July 2010 a rocket was fired into the International Zone, formally known as the Green Zone, in Baghdad, killing three people and injuring 15 others. All the casualties were workers for a U.S. government security contractor. Two of those killed were Ugandan nationals, while one was Peruvian. Two of those wounded were U.S. nationals. It is not known which group was responsible for the attack.

GOVERNMENT WARNINGS

Pakistan (Country threat level - 5): The U.S. Department of State issued an updated Travel Warning for Pakistan on 22 July 2010, which notes that Islamist militants "are seeking to increase their attacks on civilian, government, and foreign targets in Pakistan's cities" in response to military operations against militants' bases in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPk) province. The full text of the warning is available at http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_930.html

Uzbekistan (Country threat level - 4): On 22 July 2010 the U.S. Department of State issued a Travel Warning, which reads in part as follows: "The Department of State warns U.S. citizens that the potential for a terrorist attack or localized civil disturbance still exists in Uzbekistan. The Department of State continues to urge U.S. citizens in Uzbekistan to exercise caution when traveling in the region. This supersedes the Travel Warning dated June 16, 2009, to update information on security incidents.

"The U.S. government continues to receive information that indicates terrorist groups may be planning attacks, possibly against U.S. interests, in Uzbekistan. Supporters of terrorist groups such as the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Al-Qaida, the Islamic Jihad Union, and the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement are active in the Central Asian region. Members of these groups have expressed anti-U.S. sentiments and have attacked U.S. government interests in the past, including the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, and may attempt to target U.S. government or private American interests in Uzbekistan. In the past, these groups have conducted kidnappings, assassinations, and suicide bombings.

"Uzbek authorities maintain a high level of alert and aggressive security measures to thwart terrorist attacks. High security at official facilities may lead terrorists and their sympathizers to seek softer targets. These may include facilities where U.S. citizens and other foreigners congregate or visit, such as residential areas, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, schools, hotels, outdoor recreation events, and resorts. The U.S. Embassy in Tashkent continues to employ heightened security precautions. U.S. citizens should report any unusual activity to local authorities and then inform the Embassy.

"Uzbekistan experienced a wave of terrorist violence in 2004, including a suicide bombing outside the U.S. Embassy, and a number of incidents have occurred since then. In late May 2009, a small group of militants attacked a police check post near Khonobod in the Namangan region, injuring one police officer. On May 26, 2009, a suicide operative detonated explosives in central Andijon near a police office, killing at least one police officer and injuring several bystanders. In September 2009, there was a shoot-out in Tashkent between government authorities and suspected operatives of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan that resulted in several deaths.

"The Uzbek government tightly controls all official border crossings. Travel within Uzbekistan by rail or land sometimes requires brief exit into neighboring countries. Travelers should have multiple-entry Uzbek visas and a proper visa for the neighboring country in order to avoid delays in travel. Furthermore, U.S. citizens affiliated with nongovernmental organizations that have been closed in Uzbekistan may be denied entry, even with a valid visa. ..."

Kenya (Country threat level - 4): The U.S. Department of State issued the following Travel Alert for Kenya on 22 July 2010: "This Travel Alert is being issued to alert U.S. citizens in Kenya to two independent security concerns. In the wake of the July 11, 2010 terrorist bombings in Kampala, Uganda, there have been increased threats made against public areas in Kenya. In addition, there is concern about the potential for civil disturbances surrounding the August 4 constitutional referendum in Kenya. The U.S. Embassy urges caution when visiting public areas, including restaurants and shopping centers, and asks U.S. citizens to make every effort to avoid public rallies and demonstrations. The U.S. Embassy continues to urge U.S. citizens in Kenya and those considering travel to Kenya to evaluate their personal security situation in light of continuing threats from terrorism and the high rate of violent crime. This Travel Alert is in addition to the March 16, 2010 Travel Warning and does not supersede it. This Travel Alert will expire on October 22, 2010.

"Since the July 11 bombings in Uganda, for which the Somalia-based, U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization al-Shabaab terrorist group has claimed responsibility, there have been increased threats against public areas across East Africa. U.S. citizens should make every effort to increase personal safety, such as visiting businesses during off-peak hours, avoiding areas with large crowds, and remaining vigilant when visiting restaurants, shopping centers, or other areas frequented by the general public.

"While the U.S. Embassy hopes for a peaceful August 4 constitutional referendum with high voter turnout, it recognizes that past elections in Kenya have been marred by violence. The U.S. Embassy has requested that all non-essential official visitors to the mission defer travel to Kenya from July 28 to August 11, 2010. During this timeframe, U.S. citizens in Kenya should take increased security measures, avoid public events related to the referendum, and be particularly cautious of events held immediately following the announcement of the election result. Demonstrations are unpredictable, can become violent, and should be avoided if at all possible."

IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING WHERE ALL THOSE NEW DEFENSE/GOVERNMENT PAYROLLED WORKERS ARE STATIONED. ITS NOT EASY RUNNING THESE GUYS FROM EMBASSY AND NATO BASES. THE TRAVEL ALONE IS LOGISTICALLY A NIGHTMARE. JUST ASK GATES.

  3. Thnaks Jack. The article like a few others I've seen are beyond belief. How any monster Bush or Obama would let this COREXIT scheme happen is beyond criminal.

Add the new reduced healthcare options that Buthead Biden seems so proud of and you got the makings of a massive cancer run. As if the Vilsack GMO-Fructose corn syrup diabetes plague wasn't going to kill enough, now we can look forward to this soft kill triad.

I want Mister M to get the hell out of there for good. I want everyone out of there.
Keep in mind that the can now use the HAARP program to distribute the COREXIT DEATH across the country when the hurricanes pick it up off the gulf and deluge our land and water supply with it.

We need to stay informed on possible foods, nutrients and herbs that may be good for reversing any effects. LZ Nice tune!

  5. HAW!

See how nothing else matters until YOU YOURSELF personally right-now lack food and a warm place to shit?

THAT is the core of the "problem," methinks. Not NWO or chemtrails or sock-puppet-show "left-right" twaddle or any of that. When we have our OWN stable-temperature food-poop-hydration cycle "stabilized" (at least for now), we have the "luxury" of speculating on the Macro... and this causes us to be oblivious to the (temporary) Micro.

"Big Picture" is good. Nothing wrong with that. The reality is that half the naked-monkeys on the planet just want something to eat. Same as it ever was.

The TRUTH is, ducks, NONE of us are "free" until ALL of us are "free." None of us are fed until ALL of us are fed. It's our blessing/curse as collective primates. We "collective" species are more dominant in the short-term, but keep failing in the "long" term.

And I don't care if anybody "believes" it or not. It's the Truth.

    pfffffzzzttt.

  6. Dammit, waldo. I'm sure everyone here has donated money or goods to the starving in other lands. The BIG truth is how much of what we contributed goes to the half naked monkeys, huh? Is it all going to them or being intercepted by the pigs that run things?

What do you want us to do about that? What can we do? WHere are YOUR solutions?

As for caring about our own people, are you saying you care more for those you've never met than the people you know and love? Get real!

Of course every single person here wants everyone in the entire universe to be free, well fed and healthy. Do you think you are the only one?
