American Cockfights for the Cockeyed!

[caption id="attachment_19967" align="alignnone" width="200"] Dazzle Em with Footwork -- Crow at Em with Chickenshit[/caption]

So, the guy at the end of the bar barks into his bourbon, "Who gives a shit about two Liars Cockfighting". The patrons watching the debate on the MSM widescreen, check the polls on their cocks with their handhelds, tweet wildly, toast to "Freedom in the Motherland" and suck another one down. Intoxicated and comfortably numb, debilitated, they debate the Liars' Cockfight until closing time. The water cooler chatter awaits them tomorrow. If they have a job. If there is a Tomorrow...

Cue the Piano Man

"It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday
And the manager gives me a smile
'Cause he knows that it's me they've been comin' to see
To forget about life for a while
And the piano, it sounds like a carnival
And the microphone smells like a beer
And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar
And say, "Man, what are you doin' here?"

Oh, la la la, di da da
La la, di da da da dum"

http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/b/billy_joel/piano_man.html

Though confounding, out of the Two Losers Cockfighting, a Winner will emerge. The Winner Puppet of the FREEK world. Irony of another kind. As for the bar patrons, Nobody wins, though many have picked sides. How can any peasant win with two lying losers? That's the beauty of the two-party system. The peasants "think" they're players, voters, and that they matter -- but they're "outside" the system. They're only "in it" for the long haul. It never strikes them that they're just the meat of the matter.

You can dredge up all the MSM fodder on Drudge, like the theatre matters...
http://www.drudgereport.com/

This post is posted and toasted to generate additional banalities from the Crew. Because this American Kabuki Theatre is as banal as it is anal. And WE know we've had enough of THAT! Aye, voters? {snicker}

Yeoow! And there's going to be more of this tripe from the Cockfighters? Made in America.

[caption id="attachment_19968" align="alignnone" width="500"] No need to play chicken, when your goose is cooked[/caption]

Back in the bar, patrons were shuffling playing cards of the candidates, and came up with the following photo montage, revealing the "Winning Hand" for the job:

...and this little geoduck (gooey duck) went wee, wee, wee, wee all the way home...

  5. Theatre of the Absurd. A staged Act One for certain. I must say I was really entertained at the plantation owner Romney and sharecropper Obama. Barry lost the debate but wins the oscar.

I will entitle this election debate act one "Perte de l'érection debout" and was amazed at the body language and look of the scenes. It was like Foghorn Leghorn taking the little chicken hawk to school. Barry was like a despondent spoiled kid who pouted at the Lies Romney told.

I guess after the debate when the Capons went center stage to shake'n bake, Barry told Mitt that he went off script. Like rockem sockem robot chickens, they lied through their beaks Boomer.

Jim Lehrer did his best to stage the affair to show some sort of difference as to create the illusion that there was any difference but we know better here in the land of COTO that the political paradigm is two skinny rooster wings hanging by a thread to the fat swollen Vulture that is the committee.
I know this amped up the hatred and I predicted this would be the nastiest campaign ever but it will not be seen by the sheeple as nasty by the birds of a feather but by their PAC's and Pundits and the mysterious "Innocence of the Muslim's" producers who hide in the crevasses of the Koch's and Soros' pitted brains.

I expect act two to show Ryan moppin up with the canary Biden and then the tides will turn. It is all about division and making it prime for the false flag domestic event set to go after the October surprise.

We know the economic plan of the dirty birds are not different except for the feathers and fiat in which they float the frauds. The crew here knows that any bird in the hand is only like two in the Bush.

The economy cannot be solved any other way than Agenda 21. It is the cornerstone of the NWO economy plan. This is a human life and a dollar. Tax is death. To reduce taxes ten dollars equals one death. The ratio is correct. Humans are assets. The 47% are assets in derivatives. They are non performing and non-producing.

The money sits in accounts and the committee says to Mittens and Barry, kill anyone for ten bucks back into the economy. We don't care what color or what country. Now it's just a race to see who get's their way. If Mitt wins we get a false flag foreign war and Barry gets us a false flag domestic war. While the economy for the NWO is thriving in fine fashion, the lies and deceptions become greater and greater.

Life is a game whose purpose is discovering the rules. The game is survival and the rules are theirs. We better begin to make our own rules now, Especially when the 47% get burned by four more years in Barrytown.

  17. http://www.globalresearch.ca/hegemony-and-propaganda-the-importance-of-trivialisation-in-cementing-social-control/

Knowledge in modern societies has expanded to the point whereby specialisms and sub-specialisms are the norm. It is just not possible for one person to have in-depth knowledge of every discipline. We must rely on others to convey such knowledge, usually in relatively simplistic terms. Most of us have to take at face value many of the ideas and concepts that we are bombarded with in this age of instant, mass communications and information overload.

People tend to like simplicity. In many instances, not possessing sufficient expertise on matters, they require it. They require easily manageable packages of knowledge, and these packages become taken for granted stocks of ‘common sense’ knowledge that enable them to cope, however faulty or misrepresented that ‘knowledge’ may be.

Politicians and the media also recognise people’s need for simplicity. And here lies the problem, particularly in an increasingly complex and confusing world. In order to rally the masses around certain ideas and to make things ‘simple’ for them, both politicians and the media have to a large extent taken their cue from Edward Bernays, the father of advertising, propaganda and public relations. This is where simplicity morphs into manipulation.

Bernays knew how to manipulate groups of people and get the masses hooked on the products and messages of modern society. We are now all subjected to this type of manipulation each and every day by the incessant bombardment of commercials.~ Colin Todhunter

“The hallmark of an intelligent society is its ability to ask questions. If I am in doubt, I have the right to ask questions. A simple act of asking questions is treated as sedition here.” ~Aruna Roy (Indian political and social activist).

  19. There are two books with the title: PROPAGANDA

One was written by Edward Bernays. The other written by Jacques Ellul.

Ellul stripped the saccharine icing off of Bernays' book to show the cake beneath was a large piece of shit. Ellul then went on to write, perhaps the most important book of the 20th Century, THE TECHNOLOGICAL SOCIETY.

In this book he takes the topic of TECHNIQUE to show what it really is, a subconscious "demon" driving the cultures and societies of humankind.
We have reached this impasse of survival because of this unconscious drive for EFFICIENCY, which is totally in antithesis to QUALITY, in our lives, our thinking and our souls.

Be there a DEVIL - it is EFFICIENCY.

  20. Yes Brandon is a wonderful writer, but I disagree emphatically with his central premise.

Americans have been vicious conquerors from the very beginning. The genocide of the Native Americans stands in stark contrast with this 'feel good' bullshit that 'America was once great'.

The ideas presented in the Declaration of Independence are beautiful, but the majority of the men who signed it were hypocrites, and THAT is why this 'nation' has failed - hypocrites at the very foundation.

Remember always, government is a racket, it has ALWAYS been a racket.

Brandon is really a wonderful wordsmith though. And his essay isn't utterly without merit. His heart is in the right place. It is just that so many...even the brilliant have yet to grasp the totality of the human condition.

Thus the race to oblivion, and tragedy.

  23. I was wondering what you all thought of the debate.. lots of interesting thoughts. I was pretty taken aback by Obama's lack of energy, focus, crispness, something... It would figure Romney would be more agressive, but I just thought it strange as everyone else has, that Obama wasn't more fired up.

Interesting analogies, Puddy and COTO thought a child sacrifice occurred? Oh, my really? Are they really that evil?

I did wonder if Obama was drugged or something. Anyway, something just didn't seem right.

Then there was Rogue's comments about the books and Ellul's "The Techincal Society". Sounds quit3e interestng. The part about Efficiency vs. Quality is something. Everywhere I look, I seem to see a great lack of either!

  24. "Barak Obama relied on the mantra ‘hope and change’, which means everything and nothing at the same time. While in some cases sound-bite sayings may be making a serious point, they are repeated over and over again to the point where they merely become meaningless, feel-good rhetoric."

  26. "The part about Efficiency vs. Quality is something. Everywhere I look, I seem to see a great lack of either!"
If the civilized world is maintained by nothing more than a collective mind, what you're saying is, it appears the idea is showing signs of fading. I seen a Stephen King mini series way back when that had a similar story line.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Perhaps Cin, you are expecting a 'quality' to emerge from efficiency that isn't within it's attributes.

In other words your 'expectations' as to what efficiency should create and manifest are actually a 'quality'. That what technology in actuality produces is now exponentially life and soul threatening IS the 'efficiency' of digital un/super-consciousness.

Technology has VERY efficiently produced inhuman environments known as cities, where all is geared for the good of the machine.
It has very efficiently divided social constructs into 'specialty' fields as the Global Research article meets the premises of Ellul.

Think on it further, and I think you will discover you are expecting 'quality' to naturally arise from 'efficiency' - when that is Ellul's entire point, that the two are inherently incompatible on a long enough timeline, wherein efficiency becomes an unconscious drive, and is unleashed from human control due to false assumptions.

Is it not human 'efficiency' that has despoiled nature in such a total fashion now?

The old zoological presumption that it was 'over-specialization' of the saber-toothed tiger, and it's 'efficiency' in wiping out it's prey turned out to be wrong on one hand...
but proved the plight of 'over-specialization' and it's 'efficiency', when it was recognized that the cat's extinction was do to human hunters who not only caused the extinction of the big prehistoric cats, but their prey as well, as both were no competition to human ingenuity in both 'cooperation' and tool/weapon making, the technology of pit-trapping, and running of herds into narrow ravines and creating landslides to bury and trap them__the use of fire encirclement and entrapment.

Thus the term, "the most dangerous game" is applied to human beings when they are considered as prey.

I hope these thoughts might clarify the issues as Ellul was attempting to warn to.

    \\][//

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ellul's treatise, THE TECHNOLOGICAL SOCIETY is really a long hard read...I know it took me months to digest it section by section. But what we end up with is the concept that 'Technique' is entity, in the same fashion of 'the collective mind' - that it is thus 'aware of itself' through the awareness of the human collective...and further and most frightening that it is, because of it's blindness to what 'quality' is, has replaced it with 'efficiency' which once manifested is anti-human and 'evil' in the very sense that a 'conscious' demon or devil is.

I find his argument unassailable. I think that which man has called 'Satan' has all along been this 'invisible' force driven by man's own psyche. It is complex enough, that one has to actually read this tome of Ellul's and 'grok' it.

This leaves mankind in a very precarious situation. And this is why I feel that it could actually be a blessing if the Sun were to erupt with a huge flair sending an EMP strong enough to wipe out modern technology. It may be the only chance Earth would have to heal. And the only chance humanity has to avoid wiping itself and the whole planet out to the point of starting over from microbes.

We are in, as they say, "a real fix"....

    \\][//

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thanks Rogue, Puddy and Veri - you have given me a LOT to digest there (maybe one day I'll actually tackle Ellul himself!). Expectations may have something to do with it (I've always been pretty optimistic)... When I look at what's around now (sticking to consumer goods, now) quality is definitely lacking... most stuff barely lasts long enough for you to get your use out of it. But I see efficiency lacking in many places, too. A quick example. At school (I teach at the local community college) we just instituted a new web portal for employees and students. I find it's not efficient at all - it seems you get more of a run around to do the same things we did before!

Rogue mentioned our collective is blinded to "quality". I think I can probably agree with that. Most folks take it for granted now that stuff won't last. I look as some antiques and think: 'these things were done for the long haul' - and that happens much more rarely with newer things.

And I hope that despite our being 'drained' , we don't all completely give up hope.

    ReplyDelete
  30. As a teacher at a community college dealing with young adults, you are in a unique position. A friend of mine is a teacher at an alternate high school that has an intake requirement of no younger than 18 years old and out of school for at least a year. We share a common interest in aviation but got to talking about world events. Since then, he's come around to seeing things in a COTO fashion. I have a growing DVD collection on subject and he's been borrowing ones to show his classes over the past couple of years. Not only has he connected with them but has been surprised by how knowledgeable many of them are. I was amazed by a friends daughter who was twenty at the time into how well she was clued into the inner mechanizations of the order. Upon asking her how she realized, she said " It's in the music" (a throwback to the sixties) that she'd been listening to since she was 11 or 12 years old. Just a brilliant young person, she and her friends are all activists. As I've learned much here that's revolutionized my knowledge levels and have made friends, you'll find COTO to be different in the respect that people here tend to be non confrontational except between the Rogue and JG but only on a lighthearted level. It gets salty at times but that's to be expected in dealing with the characters here. This is an intelligent place to come to. Looking forward to your commentary.

  31. I agree 100% William. I have secretly desired the EMP as the event. The collective consiousness would certainly get efficient kickstart. It would bring out the selflessness we see at times of disaster without eliminating recovery.

  32. I have come to the conclusion that we have for the large part been able to take EGO out of the discussion. I think the COTO that Michael Dibari coined was so perfect. It's obvious that the coalition is a fusion of those looking for nourishment. We don't have to agree but we have to come hungry and that takes the ego out. We come for honesty and we accept the dissent.

We tried to do this at OPED NEWS and HUFFPO as well but they were not hungry but instead, full of it. :)

It covers a certain "perspective" of the whiteman's vanquishing and enslavement of the Native Indians of a country that was dubbed America, then the "CORPORATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". A short reflection upon the history in Amerika reveals "The Evil" attacking cultures, civilization, and humanity as a whole for greed, exploitation, resources, power, and control. This gambit has not changed except in refinement and viciousness.

I've always wondered how a small number of armed men (goons) herded upwards of hundreds to thousands of humans. I do not understand the capitulation. I do not understand the surrendering of Will and Freedom to Evil's Control. I will never grasp it.

  60. Thanks, glad to be here.

"Hope is a nice side dish..." interesting. It's a side dish, though I hope we keep around.

  61. Gee, you're optimistic. I have a hard enough time getting my students to take good notes, follow sample problems, learn notation, etc.! I teach math and yesterday gave tests in 2 classes. For real: in my Statistics class, they were provided with a formula sheet which I made up. Now, please note, these are all formulas we've gone over befeore. Still, 4 or 5 students asked what some symbols meant.

    Sigh.

    P. S., I do find this place quite intellligent... you folks give me lots to think about.
