Over 100 Arrested @ OWS Boston Including Veterans for Peace

Veterans for Peace had their American flag thrown to the ground and were beaten with batons and arrested by Boston police under cover of darkness in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.   It has been reported that several women were arrested and taken to an "undisclosed location" because the jails were full. ~jg  See a clip of the event below:

  1. Dear Mr. President, Madame Secretary, and Mr. Brennan:

We, the undersigned members of the Committee on the Present Danger, write to endorse and support the significant points made in the letter sent on April 9, 2010 by Senator Joseph I. Lieberman to Deputy National Security Advisor John Brennan regarding the removal of the term “Islamic extremism” from the National Security Strategy report and replacing it with the nebulous term “violent extremism”. We agree wholeheartedly with the Senator’s assertion that this action contradicts the accepted military intelligence doctrine to properly identify, define, and know your enemy.

  13. I am suggesting that this isn't going to work.

I am suggesting that it isn't going to be allowed to work...

"Non-violence" is a conformity technique. I think that and this chanting, because they are "not allowed" to have bullhorns and such, is psychological warfare itself...WTF you mean ALLOWED???

This is the same kind of bullshit as FREE SPEECH ZONES.

I do not believe in aggression, I have made that clear.
I also DO believe in self defense.

I guess I am one of those pissed off old men who has pulled the 'hippie' out of the closet, brushed it off, slapped it across it's naive
"nonviolent" face and yelled, "wake the fuck up asshole."

Been there - done that - it didn't work.

  14. You have the god given RIGHT to fight back - to self defense...

    I see it as duty.

NO, it's not polite. There are times for polite, one of them is not while you are getting your ass kicked.

This may sound like ''macho bullshit'' but I learned one thing in HS, bullies will bully you until you knock one on his ass.

Now everyone always likes to point to Gandhi and his successful "non-violent" defeat of the British Empire ------ Bullshit.
They just put on a new mask, and ruled from behind the scenes.

You want REAL change? You have to TAKE it. No negotiation, no namby pamby going along with what is "ALLOWED''....obey? obey? WTF is with this "obey" bullshit??? No, I don't get it. I'm not buying this crap anymore.

  16. Gotta agree with you there, Rogue1.

Here's MY sentiment -- "Obedience is for Sheep!"

Another view in the mirror might be -- "You don't win a war with peace!"

There is something to say though for gumming up the works of the machine with the dead weight of thousands, tens, and hundreds of thousands of protester bodies.

Example: I couldn't start my riding lawnmower. It just made a click sound. Thought it was the battery. Bought a new battery. Nothing doing. Same sound, no fire. Started figuring it might be the starter solenoid. Banged on it with a hammer while turning the key. Nothing. Got smarter. Took off the cowling so I could "see" what was going on with the starter and engine.

Upon pulling off the engine cowling, a momma mouse with her baby hanging from her teat was dancing back and forth on the horizontal flywheel trying to decide where to run. Her "bedding" made of paper, and fabric, etc. was jammed between the solenoid gear that was supposed to pop up freely and engage the flywheel.

Locked up good and hard by a momma mouse's bed. All she wanted to do was live peacefully, have a dry house, a bed, and raise her family. Because "she was there", her very existence "there", completely stopped a powerful engine (The Machine) from working at all.

I told my son the story of the "Momma Mouse and the Machine", and at the end I asked him what the story meant. He said, "That something small CAN stop something big". "PERFECT", I exclaimed.

A multi-pronged rebellion seems in order, since the War Against Humanity is complex and multi-pronged. Perhaps allowing the non-violent protesters to do their work is just one form of protest. The elites confronting peaceful Veterans violently may eventually take another form.

Everybody that is alive and aware can refuse to be used and abused in their own way. This cannot be dictated or ordered. This Kirwan writer dude is suggesting pulling out of BofA. Keiser, says buy silver. There are many. Do Something that does not feed the Beast, and you are removing its power. We must be open to all expressions of rebellion.

  19. "Cops fucking with Veterans will “pull-in” to the mix many, many disgrundled Vets who have become Aware."

    Think so?

    I don't.

“The cops, I think, maced those women in the face and expected the men and women around them to start a riot,” Ketchup said. “They want a riot. They can deal with a riot. They cannot deal with nonviolent protesters with cameras.”~Hedges

Yea? The cops can deal with nonviolent protesters - the same way the deal with a riot - like it or not. And this has been proven over and again.

    \\][//

    ReplyDelete
  20. Okay...Protests are good - they gum up the works. I agree, now when Boomer pulls off the cowling and pulls mama mouse out, and starts the engine again...???

Where is "elsewhere" in this little analogy, for mama mouse and her youngin's to go?

Yea, yea, I want to see everything tried - and then I want to see what works. It's going to come to that one way or the other. Might as well be ready for it.

  21. I have one question,
who are the leaders behind occupy wallstreet?

    ReplyDelete
  22. "who are the leaders behind occupy wallstreet?"

That is a complex question. First who are the followers at Occupy WS? Who are the ones following the "consensus" regime? Who designed this 'consensus regime'?

Was this a "leaderless" spontaneous Gandhian mind-echo that just enveloped the crowd?

I am beginning to doubt that too Ko.

Didn't we know that there would be some sort of pre-co-op design in the works? We all saw what the "Democracy Movement" in Egypt, and other so-called "Color Revolutions" came to...
The "change" was all appearances. Egypt got rid of a dictator and gained a military junta...[wow cool].

So, if we study what was behind that - we can project what may [or may not be] behind OWS. [National Endowment for Democracy? The Brookings Institute?]

The bottom line is - what are the powers that be trying to avoid?

Obviously they are trying to co-opt any possibility of a real revolution - by real, I mean one where "all options are on the table" as our opponents are so often wont to say.

Lets face it - at this point the hold the 'First Strike' card, as long as "non-violence" is the "consensus" of the "echo chant"...
There is just evidence of some design behind this that is hard to articulate.

  26. Love that analogy Boom ! That's exactly how I feel.

Will, I would not be good at a peaceful protest where the storm troopers are displaying their brutality because I'd want to throw not only foul language at the fascist pigs but would like to physically throw something at them. I agree with you about wanting to fight fire with fire but that's what THEY want to bring the hammer down on hard martial law.

So I'll watch from here and hope the co-opters get co-opted by the REAL protesters.

    ReplyDelete
  27. So the End the Fed movement would have to be deemed useless as well, right? We know nothing is going to end the fed unless the banksters are dragged out and drawn and quartered. We know Ron Paul will not be elected and if he were, would we trust that he wasn't one of them?

So where does that leave us? Everything is co-opted, everything is useless. Breaking the chains is then hopeless, right?

Now what? Sit around and piss and moan and do nothing? I don't like that solution. I'd rather the people get the hell out there and stop the co opting and at least be a mouse in the machine!

    ReplyDelete
  28. " I agree with you about wanting to fight fire with fire but that’s what THEY want to bring the hammer down on hard martial law."

But that's what they are doing anyway - what do you call the attack last night? It is the actions of martial law.

I don't have any answers...really. I just know that this is already a police state, and Amerika had best face that fact.

They will not allow a peaceful revolution to gain it's demands, they will at best give a phony 'compromise'...learn from the treaties made with the Native Nations and DC - every single one broken...this is an old old story.

There are two types of violence - aggression and self defense.
Simply disavowing "violence" means disavowing self defense.

Not wise with a tyrannical government.

There is already blood in the street - and NONE of it is the blood of the tyrant.

Push is coming to shove - if there is no shove back, it's all over.

  29. Hey JayJee...we are not calling the shots from here. We are expressing our opinions, that is all.

The movement will keep moving or it won't we have little say in that here - I want to see it keep moving and growing. Maybe when there are enough people involved the numbers alone will intimidate the machine..[??], maybe they are working this by AI computer modelling, and it will be a scientific executed reaction, that is too hard to figure out..[??]

Maybe a higher power is on our side and the people will intuit beyond the boundaries of the machine mind..[??]

Time has not stopped - we are still in flux.
After all, at this point we are just watching and chattering on the sidelines...what happens when we actually get sucked into something will be what it is then. We can only imagine - and prepare for the worst...and hope for the best.

I can only say, I will not purposely put myself face to face with storm troopers unprepared for defense. I am not a "Protester."

  30. the movements continue, but instead of cfr running the show, the real underground co-opts the psy-op, X+X+X, we flip the script, review my other post earlier this morning, and connect the dots, and think, it's not a leaderless movement, that's a lie, and if someone lie's to you, and decieves you, they don't have good plans for you, There's two heads to the bird, they control both sides of the dialectic, we must cut the puppet strings by exposing the deception,

Read this, because what applied to Aulaqi, applied to all of us.

"One administration wag, speaking on condition of anonymity because to do otherwise would reveal "closely held deliberations within the administration," but did so anyway because this was clearly a sanctioned leak to stenographer Peter Finn, told The Washington Post that "what constitutes due process in [the Awlaki case] is a due process in war."

"The administration officials refused to disclose the exact legal analysis used to authorize targeting Aulaqi," Finn wrote, "or how they considered any Fifth Amendment right to due process."

We now know, thanks to Reuters, that authorization came from a White House death panel, an extra-constitutional committee of anonymous officials operating outside the rule of law."

  32. I agree with you there Ko, not leaderless. But who are the actual agents manipulating on the ground?

We can assume Endowment for Democracy has the strings in hand...who are the puppets they connect to?

Not being there...I don't know anything but 'reports'...but I see these weird sci fi scenes and think to myself - this is some deep design, made to look spontaneous.

WHO is the twatman in the red shirt with the mic? Who are those around him? It's probably not his show...he is just following formula handed to him. [no bullhorns, but a mini PA system?]

What if every American Citizen was a Vandal?

Meaning -- each individual manifested a driving passion, an uncontrollable urge, to rip a "piece" off of The Machine wherever and whenever opportunity presented itself? If citizens are now equated with "terrorists", dehumanized, and treated as such by The Machine's Mechanical Men, why not earn their stripes? What's the dif? In a sane world they would be called Patriots instead of Terrorists and Insurgents. Its a twisting of reality. Like politicians, bankers and the ilk are serving the interests of The People? An insane notion proven by obvious facts.

By the way Rogue, I get the part about you not wanting to "bend over" for Mr. Authority. I'm wit ya on that. Folks are cut from different cloth. Throwing a Hot Dog at Bill Clinton might be some ole medicare lady's one barb she can muster. At the proper place and time, with the camera's rolling, a guerilla action like this can pay off big! (yes -- see Tiger Woods wiener troubles). "Any Act" of rebellion, even if just sitting in one place, sucks power, energy, and resources from The Machine. Added together with millions, that's a big drag on The Beast. Death by 10,000 or 100 Million cuts is a good description of how to vanquish the Hydra.

This just up^ "How do you stop anyone from ruling you, or your space, or your country? You Become Unruly!" This is where the "mass unrest", the exponential factor works its wonders, and regime change occurs ahhh, spontaneously.

  46. In the triad called a 'spring" it represents a loaded spring. It either is sprung or it gets wouud up so tight it fails to spring. Either way the change is always down.

This is a matter of wills and determination and the fact is the committee bloodlines have been dedicated to this for two hundred years, To think poople that has awaken in the last few years or so are going to match the will of those who sacrificed their children's children to this transformation are crazy. March if it empowers you but these groups are a mish-mash of a hundred agenda or lack of agenda and even if the FED walked out and locked the door, the total combined brain power in the mass could not muster a fart in some plan of how to proceed.

They ought to be marching outside Ron Pauls office to select Dennis Kucinich as a running mate and call it the purple party.

Like Rogue, the issue comes down to one and you. Today I told the authorities that I will not offer myself for Jury Duty without day wages equal to that of Congress and that with those wages I wanted it deposited offshore. I then told him I would guarantee a not guilty charge on any defendant as in custom with Congressional hearings where defendants always walk. But I did say I would work for free if they were to be trying Eric Holder for Lying to congress, destruction of evidence and accessory to murder.

The Judge was amused but the jury pool sheeple stared at me with that "who's Eric Holder" blank stare. I should have told them he's dancing with the stars.

  47. G6....We have a bingo.

    Who's running the OWS?

    Dear Puddy,

Hope has never been enough. Words and action must follow.

At Common Dreams, we have raised a little hell and fanned the flames of dissent for nearly 15 years. Using our media platform we have worked tirelessly and creatively to share information and ideas. To inform. To inspire. To ignite change for the common good.

Now, for the first time in decades people are rising up in great numbers and taking action on the streets. We stand a fighting chance of changing policies so they will reflect our values and match our ideals.

But we need your help to continue amplifying the voices that are not just hoping - but are demanding that change happen now!

Our budget is tight, our staff is small. We stretch our resources and rely on online fundraising efforts - the small donations that multiply - because there are many of us. We are the 99%

We sing at the top of our lungs because IT needs to be sung. WE determine IT. Anyways, we don't ask for donations?

What is commondreams trying to say here?

"Our budget is tight, our staff is small.
    We stretch our resources..."

It sounds like a creepy "come-on" for a donation, don't it? Echhh und vice cexual!

So- going someplace else and flat-ass MURDERING somebody you don't "like," why do YOU- USA- have a problem with that? Is it because the "international legal principles" (which YOU have so carefully fabricated) only apply when YOU do it? This bullshit reeks before the whole world... and only the most bullet-headed GOP La-La Land Tools even pretend to buy into it. And then only the very stupidest.

What was COTO 10 years ago: the USA PATRIOT Act is NOT for "Al Quaeda terrorists..." it's for YOU- was snorfed and snorted at for a decade because it might "alienate" the "swing-voters..." or so said the Kall Klown Karz who actually believed there was a "political process" or pretended to... because the Korporat Ubermenchen made it part of their "job."

And I'm sorry (no I'm not)... at this stage... I think any USAn who didn't see this by 2003 is stupid as fuck and aint worth the powder it would take to blow their piggy-nostrils back behind their fat curly-tailed ass. Ooooo- "violence!" Well- I agree with Ho-ro1... "They" will deal with a "violent" crowd the same way as a non-violent compliant crowd... but that's something the young folks gotta learn on their own... and they're learning more quickly than WE did... thanks (in part) to faster media.

There IS a difference between "compliant" and "obedient."
