Ted Rall: It’s increasingly evident that Obama should resign

(gotta love this guy Rall!)
We expected broken promises. But the gap between the soaring expectations that accompanied Barack Obama’s inauguration and his wretched performance is the broadest such chasm in recent historical memory. This guy makes Bill Clinton look like a paragon of integrity and follow-through.

From health care to torture to the economy to war, Obama has reneged on pledges real and implied. So timid and so owned is he that he trembles in fear of offending, of all things, the government of Turkey. Obama has officially reneged on his campaign promise to acknowledge the Armenian genocide. When a president doesn’t have the nerve to annoy the Turks, why does he bother to show up for work in the morning?

  3. thanks for the link laudy. That's a great piece. I disagree in one area. Obama is simply carrying out the plan carried over from the Bush admin and the one before that and the one before that and so on... the link to all of them are the powers that control each of them.

Obama is simply another puppet for the powerful that rule him. However, he was groomed for his position, as were the others and he knew what he was doing. So Mr Rall is exactly right when he says Obama is rotten to the core.

Please see my post about "city year." It goes along with his statement that "preventive detention" otherwise known as "thought crime" is the stuff of military dictatorships. It will not be applied only to foreign "terrorists" This civilian national security force youth brigade that is recruiting all over the country, will be used in the way Hitler youth or the stasi was in Germany. They will be used as tools to enforce the new thought crime laws against we the people.

Step out of line and criticize government policies and get yourself a one way ticket to a fema camp. It's coming and I'm pretty sure everyone here can see it.
