Organic Dairies Watch the Good Times Turn Bad

RANDOLPH CENTER, Vt. — When Ken Preston went organic on his dairy farm here in 2005, he figured that doing so would guarantee him what had long been elusive: a stable, high price for the milk from his cows.

Sure enough, his income soared 20 percent, and he could finally afford a Chevy Silverado pickup to help out. The dairy conglomerate that distributed his milk wanted everything Mr. Preston could supply. Supermarket orders were skyrocketing.

BTW , Organic sales as such Have NOT fallen, as stated by NYTimes. Its becoming apparent that they are really knocking organic everything, There is something UN funny going down!
The Bovine Johnes issues and LACK of screening is sooo similar to the Mad cow and R calf Usda and FDA all blocking on farm , before sale tests..
As to going organic..hmm? what the hell is Ken P BUYING??? food for, It should be fresh grazing on HIS land, not wasting fuel to transport from interstate..defeats the whole idea.
